The Pruyn House is the Cultural and Historical Center for the Town of Colonie. We have a five and 1/2 acre property, including the House, the Buhrmaster Barn, the Verdoy Schoolhouse and several other buildings. We provide access to the Barn for the reception, the garden for the ceremony, the birch grove for the cocktail hour and dressing areas in the Pruyn House and the Verdoy Schoolhouse. Tables and chairs are included. All else must be provided through rental services and catering. We have one security person who will be on site throughout your event. Our barn was built in the late 1870's. It has been renovated over the last few years to be the perfect space for up to 130 guests. We got married in our barn and had 80 of our closest friends and family for the event. It’s the ideal venue for these smaller weddings.

The Hangar at 743 acts as a truly memorable wedding location, for everything from breathtaking wedding party photos to an expansive dance floor and plenty of amenities for a perfect day. Weddings at the venue can utilize 8,000 square feet of space, which offers plenty of flexibility for different configurations, including seated dinners, passed appetizers, and after-dinner dancing. Weddings that include live entertainment can have bands and performers set up on the second level, allowing everyone in attendance to enjoy the performance.
