“Shukhrat and his wife Rachel just shot our June 8th wedding and we couldn't be happier. They were amazing to work with and the photos are phenomenal! About the pictures: Shukhrat is versatile and very skilled. When we took our engagement photos he provided us with various styles of photos and editing, and then used our feedback to guide the photos he took at our wedding. He is also flexible. We got married in a city park and there were wayyyy more people in the park than we were expecting at 6:00pm at night. Without missing any of the candid details or true-to-life colors that we wanted, Shukhrat was able to frame the photos and/or alter the lighting so that the park goers were barely visible in the background. Both Shukhrat and Rachel are also very skilled at giving direction when needed, but letting you do your own thing the rest of the time. Neither my husband nor I have a lot of experience in front of a camera—they gave us enough direction to feel confident, without making us feel stifled or overly posed. We wanted photos that felt organic and genuine, and they were really able to capture that. Working with Shukhrat and Rachel: The two of them were a dream to work with. Incredibly professional--very communicative, punctual, quick turnaround time on photos. And they are also just lovely people. You spend so much time on your wedding day with your photographers, it's really important to feel comfortable with them, and we certainly did. They brought both a fun, but calming energy, easing our pre-wedding jitters before the ceremony, and leaning into the excitement as the night went on. “We booked Josiah and his wife (sierradoesphotos) for our October 2022 wedding. As part of the photography package, we received an engagement photo session. Josiah tagged along so that we could get to meet him, and he even provided some cute material that day. On our wedding day, Josiah captured SO. MUCH. FOOTAGE. and shared an amazing sneak peek reel with us within a week of our wedding day. The sneak peak captured so much emotion and brought all of the feelings from our day flooding back to us. When we received our highlight video, we were in awe. Josiah was able to create a video that perfectly reflected our personalities and the entire vibe of our wedding. Josiah made sure we had snippets from our speeches and readings, performed by loved ones, and the flow of the video was incredible. We had our wedding video transferred to The Motion Books so that we could display it in our home for us, and guests, to view anytime we wanted. As an added bonus, Josiah delivered raw footage of our ceremony and other aspects of the day, so that we could revisit the events leading up to us saying "I Do"! I cannot recommend Josiah enough - his experience filming and editing videos extends far past his relatively short career as a wedding videographer and his mastery is evident in his work!”

We hired Sarah as a full-time planner, and she was always available to text, email, or chat about anything and everything. I still wanted some independence when it came to design choices, and she was very respectful of that. She is extremely organized and always came prepared—asking the best questions during vendor meetings.
