The Barn was originally built in the year 1830 in Oxford, Maine, and used to be a dairy farm and apple orchard owned by the Pratt family. In 2015, it was transformed into an idyllic wedding & special event venue. The 1830 Wedding Barn is a classic, New England gem set back off of Route 26, surrounded by Maine farmland. Inside of the barn you will see impressive hand hewn beams, original wooden floors and walls, and repurposed original antiques like the hanging apple orchard ladders, hay-claw chandelier, and the Hebron Academy milk cooler. The barn’s historic quality creates a unique experience for guests to celebrate any event. Outside of the barn you will see rolling hills, fields stretching to the edge of the woods, trees from the original apple orchard (which we still bake pies from!), and sunsets fading to the western side of the property. Guests are welcome to enjoy and explore the outside areas of the existing apple orchard and surrounding grounds.

Located in the western mountains and farmlands of Maine, the Barton Family Farm is a family run venue that has a little something for everyone! At the BFF you receive Friday-Sunday use of our estate which includes our wedding barn (seats 106), farmhouse (sleeps 10), parking, apple orchard, 8 acre hayfield with mountain views, pond, firepit, covered bar, chairs, decorative tables, lawn games, flower gardens, and much more! Our partner, Strange Events will be your day of coordinator, and is included in the price of the venue. Strange events also is able to supply a multitude of other services like bartending, clean up and set up, officiating, and more. Flanagan Farm hosts exquisite events year round. With two magnificent barns set on 66 acres, the property is versatile and accommodating—designed to take advantage of Maine’s four seasons. Flanagan Farm offers an unforgettable backdrop to host your event, whether it is an intimate gathering, an all out bash, or the wonderful options in between. Weddings at Flanagan Farm include use of the entire property, including overnight accommodations in the farmhouse for 10-12 guests from Thursday through Sunday. You are welcome to host your ceremony and reception on site, as well as rehearsal dinner, welcome drinks, and even a farewell brunch if you'd like. Additionally, Flanagan Farm is among the closest wedding venues to Portland, at just 25 minutes drive, so many couples love that they can combine the best of Portland (including hotels or rental homes for guests) with the natural beauty of an elevated outdoor setting for their wedding weekend.

Apple Acres Farm is a certified organic fruit farm located just 45 minutes west of Portland, Maine, in the western Lakes & Mountains region. Your ceremony and reception will be nestled in the trees, overlooking the Saco River Valley. Our venue offers a wide variety of packages with a starting cost of $5,000 + rentals (tent, chairs, tables etc). We can offer wedding coordination, custom lighting installs, cider cocktails, a rehearsal dinner space in our Treehouse Room, and more!
