Sheyla and Rafael's journey into photography began independently, but their paths converged when they discovered their mutual love for the art form. United by their vision and dedication, they decided to combine their talents and embark on an inspiring photographic journey together.

I'm Meghan Ann Imagery! I'm an artist, storyteller, and lover of love. It's fitting I ended up as a wedding photographer, right? I'm based in Connecticut but wishing for the dream inquiries that will send me to Alaska, Colorado, or some place new.

I grew to love photography as a kid. I got my first point and shoot camera at 12 years old, and I spent my time capturing images of hummingbirds. Once I had my daughter, I gained the courage to start doing photography as a business!

I grew up in New Orleans, but moved to Bay St. Louis when I was young. This is when I began to appreciate nature and all its intricate details. It followed shortly after that I would purchase my first camera, a Nikon N60. I immediately fell in love with photography. I just had to capture all the intriguing tiny things I saw, and that was 20 years ago. I also volunteer at The Humane Society of Southern Mississippi photographing their dogs and cats.

I have studied fine art photography long before I ever started taking portraits of other people and shooting weddings. Fine art photography was my beginning, creating conceptual and authentic art that spoke to me and told my story was what I started with and then I started blurring that line between fine art and documentary. I started documenting other people and their lives in the same way that I created my own work intended for shows and galleries. That is how I came to the style that I shoot now, still blending the two parts of my life.

My son Boone and daughter Nora are my favorite little models but, I am biased. They are the reason I started this adventure!
