In 1870, the Lomis Brothers built Stag’s Leap on Baldwin Road in Oxford, Michigan. Stag’s Leap Farm, is a charming Bed & Breakfast nestled on the outskirts of Oxford, Michigan. You will find our farm an ideal spot for a romantic weekend getaway or out-of-town executives seeking a quiet place to unwind after a long workday. Their goal is for every guest to have an exceptional and happily memorable experience at Stag’s Leap. Guests always are welcome to enjoy a glass of wine or a cup of freshly brewed coffee by the fireplace in the parlor and admire some of the home’s original architecture, including a built-in desk used to log stops along with the Pony Express. Lifepoint Chapel was built shortly after the end of the Civil War in 1869, and its earliest features have endured: 19th-century windows, white pine flooring, ornamental ceilings, and even the original church bell! Being on private property will allow you to choose any caterer or vendor you wish to use. This allows you the freedom to decorate creatively and chose your own menu. Bring in food carts! Lake Lucy Event Venue offers 140 acres of land with an 80 acre private lake encompassed on the property. There are many well maintained walking trails, plenty of open space and beautiful scenery. There is an option to bring the bridal party on a hay wagon, which makes for some pretty cool pictures. Both the bridal party and the grooms party can opt to get ready in a beautiful log home; usually the bridal party gets ready in the fully finished walkout basement, and the grooms party on main floor. We are located within 5 miles of Wixom, which offers many hotel options. There is currently no structures in the wedding venue area, but have started construction on a pavilion for the 2024 season.
