Honestly if I could give zero stars I would. We drove an hour and a half to come tour the wedding venue - no one showed up to meet us and let us in for the reservation we had (and they confirmed). We tried calling the phone number on google and got someone who doesn’t even work there. No outreach from the employees that they couldn’t make it, they’d be late, nothing. Extremely unprofessional and a complete waste of time. Wouldn’t recommend even thinking about having your wedding here.

I really wanted to give this venue the benefit of the doubt after reading a negative review about poor communication and overcharging. I was hoping it was an isolated incident because the venue is absolutely gorgeous, and we were really excited about the possibility of having our wedding there. However, my fiancé, both sets of parents, and I drove over an hour to tour the venue after booking the appointment through the online portal (and getting multiple confirmations) only to be let down. Unfortunately, when we arrived at the scheduled time, no one was there. I called the main number multiple times, but I was sent straight to voicemail. My fiancé managed to find another number online, which led to a person who no longer worked there. He was actually the only one who was helpful and got in touch with the woman we were supposed to meet. She explained that she had a family emergency to him, which IF that was true we completely understand, but if you're able to take a call from someone who no longer works there, the least you could do is inform the people who are scheduled to tour the venue about the situation. Or, if that's not possible, you could contact your colleague (whom the guy called as well, but received no answer) to step in and assist. This experience was incredibly disappointing and, unfortunately, it confirms the negative review I had read earlier.

  • They dropped the ball on nearly everything.

While this is a beautiful venue, they were very difficult to work with during our wedding planning process and did not keep track of our payments. After we booked the venue (a year in advance), it was next to impossible to get ahold of the Robin Hills Farm event team over the next 12 months. I’d send several emails and wouldn’t hear back. This extends even beyond poor communication with me and my husband - our wedding coordinator, caterers and florist didn’t get any responses either, and our caterer was one of their required caterers! Communication was pertinent in my ability to plan. I had to make my best guess and hope it worked on the day of, and our rockstar of a coordinator made it all happen. They ruined our wedding planning experience, in full honesty. They did, however, apologize and gave use a partial refund due to the poor communication. We are truly appreciative of this. However, this was followed by yet another issue. Just days after our wedding, we received our final invoice which showed we owed nearly double what we had tracked in our payments. I reached out and requested an itemized invoice including all payments, which they said they would provide. Weeks later, they are saying we are overdue on our payment. I reminded them that I requested a full invoice, which they subsequently sent over on my second request. This invoice was nearly half of what had been stated in the initial invoice. We were nearly overcharged close to 3000 due to their negligence. It’s such a beautiful venue and I hope they improve, but I wanted to share a word of caution for other couples looking to have a great wedding planning experience.
