“After friends shared a photo of my then fiance and me at their own wedding, we hired the photographer who took it. This was Nina! That one photo inspired us to review the gallery of their entire wedding and then her portfolio and we were blown away. 7 months later our own wedding day arrived. “Working with Villa was one of the best choices we made as part of wedding planning. During the initial planning, she was responsive, thoughtful, and considerate of our vision. She understands that most people have never planned a wedding before helped us not only plan photos, but reorganize our reception to flow better. My husband and I are very photo shy, enough so that we debated on whether or not to even hire a photographer for the wedding. Villa was so great at directing interesting, natural poses that didn't feel forced or awkward in the moment. We opt-ed not to do an engagement shoot, but if we had to do it all over again, we absolutely would with Villa. During day of, Villa was extremely detailed and organized. She arrived early to the venue to capture photos and understand the space overall. She was very good about taking photos in a way that didn't interrupt the flow of events while navigating a fairly large and irregularly shaped venue. We received a great blend of editorial and photo-journalistic images that really captured the day beautifully. She has a great eye for wide shots, close up details, and artistic framing. Our wedding day started on a sunny day at noon and ended in the evening. “Lindsay and Greg have been a pleasure to work with so far! My fiance had them there to photograph our proposal and I liked them so much that we booked them for our engagement and wedding sessions as well. We set up a brief meeting, shared our vision (we wanted a "photojournalist approach"), and mapped out a schedule of events. Anything that we did not think to ask, he made sure to bring up and help make our vision more complete. Chris was excellent at capturing all of the tiny moments of the night without being in anyone's way. The pictures that he captured were absolutely STUNNING--the perfect amount of sentimental moments captured in beautiful lighting and silly off the cuff moments that captured the essence of each and every guest. “As you’ll come to see with vendors, not all of them are very responsive, Barbora was always responsive no matter what time I texted her and had a question to ask her prior to the wedding. She’s punctual (something I care a lot about), she’s very organized (had a timeline and stuck to it) she is also very reliable so that made me comfortable. On the wedding day, she was a delight to be around. She worked so so hard. I literally got to a point where I had to remind her to go have her meal. She took what I thought were beautiful pictures. I wanted spontaneous and organic pictures and she captured just that. I am very awkward in front of the camera (and so is my husband), she helped direct us and made us comfortable. “If I could give Stefan ten stars, I would. Working with him was an incredible experience from start to finish. He did our engagement photos and our wedding photos and for the former he traveled to New York so we could do the shoot at a location that has a great deal of meaning to us. My husband and I are not people who are usually comfortable in front of a camera, but Stefan goes above and beyond to make sure he is prepared and that you are prepared to have the best shoot possible. He has detailed guides for both engagement and wedding shoots, which were incredibly helpful. He also meets with you to discuss your goals for the shoot, get to know who you are as a couple, and understand the vibe you are going for. Our engagement shoot was on a cold and windy day in a location unfamiliar to him and he did research, arrived early, and knocked it out of the park. “I had a great experience with Jon and would highly recommend his services to others that are looking to hire a photographer for a surprise proposal. I contacted Jon through his website less than three weeks before I was planning to propose. I received a response within a few hours, had a call with him to work out the details within a few days. Jon had great suggestions for my proposal plan and was able to provide example images of other proposals he had captured at various locations. The examples he provided were very helpful in my planning and gave me assurance as to what the final product would look like.
