I am the first born and oldest girl of 3 children. I’m a born leader and organizer, raised with a strong work ethic and family values. We are a small urban flower farm in the middle of a nature preserve on the St Lucie River. We practice permaculture and grow with the seasons, our flowers are pestaside-free and grow for the bees, too! I grow for true love for flowers and the absolute need to share them. I took my passion for gardening to a career level when I felt the joy my flowers would bring to the recipient. I was hooked. I had to make flower farming my career so I could continue to pass this joy to all who want to feel joyous.

Born in Venezuela, María has been working with flowers for the past 30 years. It is a profession that she started when she was very young, spending time at her family business, a local flower shop located on the coast of Lake Maracaibo, since 1966. Her passion for floral arrangements became a profession as she took a more active role at the shop, having her mother and sisters as mentors. In 1987, she started to conduct businesses in several cities in Venezuela.
