“Writing reviews was the last things I had on my big ol wedding to-do list. I mostly put it off because I truly did not know how to put into words how perfect most of my vendors were. Jessica was no short of perfection. She was incredibly easy to schedule with, chat with about what I wanted, and offered up advice on all things beauty. Her package deal is incredible, her pre wedding face kit is amazing, her touch up kit is still use to this day, and her own facial products are some of my faves. I didn’t have “mini facial” on my wedding morning timeline but omfg I would tell every bride it’s absolutely necessary. During my trial (at her adorable home studio!) we went in a traditional direction and 5 months later I asked her to pivot entirely and go foundation-less. “Veronica was everything I hoped for in a makeup artist and more! As someone who enjoys makeup but doesn’t consider themselves very “girly” I was intimidated by the process of finding a makeup artist for my wedding. I was worried that someone would only want to do glam makeup and that just wasn’t for me. When talking to Veronica at our first consult I instantly felt like she really heard and understood what I was saying about what I wanted and my concerns about my skin (acne prone). At our trial she explained everything, answered my questions, offered advice, and talked through how she would take my bridal dreams and make them a reality. On the day of my wedding she came to me, made me feel pampered and utterly stunning. I got married in June and while it was a gorgeous day, it was hot, I was in the sun for a large chunk of the day, and I am a sweaty gal. My makeup stayed gorgeous from application (finished around noon) all the way through the dance floor that night! I used the oil blot pads she gave me in my touch up kit once before I walked down the aisle at 5pm and otherwise didn’t need any other touch ups. “A few months before my summer 2024 wedding, I was struggling to find a makeup artist in Boston experienced with Asian faces. My bridal party and I are mixed-race Asian, and after an unsuccessful trial with another artist, we realized we needed someone skilled in techniques that complement Asian features. We found Fei Xu's website, and though she was booked, two team members, Yuki and Priceless, were available.
