Hi Alison I am very happy to hear that you liked your hair and makeup on your wedding day and I want to thank you for your feedback! After reading your review I went back through our messages and there are some points I would like to touch on. Starting with our communication -while there was a short stretch of time where we had limited contact (six business days as I was dealing with family matters out of state which I did let you know) It’s important to note that your messages were regarding what hair pins you should purchase which we had already discussed months prior at your trial and as I mentioned both then and in my response text the hair pins are completely a personal choice and not something I overview. The other point you mentioned in your messages was the timeline. In order to create a timeline I always need the names of everyone in the bridal party as well as their inspiration photo with the order in which you’d like for everyone to go at. At your trial on July 24th I went over this and stated that these are necessary to create the schedule/timeline after not receiving them I asked again on June 8th. It was not until after I asked for a third time that you sent the inspiration photos to me (only six days before your wedding).The other important point I want to touch on was the actual timeline. After looking back at our messages you were anticipating an 8am start time and asked if “ it was realistic to finish by 2pm “ and after assessing the fact that your bridal party needed a total of 12 services my response was “ to be on the safe side I would SUGGEST a 7:00am-7:30am start time to ensure there is enough time for everyone to be all set “ to which you replied “ that’s what I thought! “ I take pride in working with my brides on their wishes and being as flexible as possible so It’s important I clarify that starting thirty minutes to an hour earlier was only a clear suggestion on my end which you agreed to and stated you would be reaching out to the venue coordinator (never at my request).With this all said timelines are always a guideline and sometimes some services will take longer or less time depending on each individuals needs, hair texture, density etc this is something I am very transparent about with every one of my brides yourself included. Sometimes we do happen to run a bit earlier on schedule in which case we use some extra time to do touchups before leaving and gives extra time to get dressed and take photos. We did not finish two hours before your end time as finishing 12 services in a 5 hour time stretch (7:30am to 12pm) which is what your stating is impossible for me to do. I can agree that we finished a little earlier than your “ ready by time “ The team clearly remembers you specifically thanked me as it gave you a little time to wind down before the rest of the day so I am completely shocked that you are now stating this was an issue. On the day of your trial we started at a later time than agreed as you had run into traffic and were running behind. I was also not paid for your trial until two days after the actual trial. While these were an inconvenience to me I was completely understanding as sometimes things happen. I also understand that not everyone has the same common courtesy and I should not expect the same. I am very glad to hear that you liked your hair and makeup the day of your wedding and that you were satisfied with our work, you as well are your bridal party looked stunning! - Maggie
