My photography career started 7 years ago in the editorial world - shooting for big brands like Sephora, Miller Coors, T-Mobile, and Wanderlust. Commercial work was cool and all… until I shot my first wedding. I just knew by the happiness bubbling up in my heart that THIS is the industry I was made for. Being surrounded by happiness and love on such a meaningful day is SO fulfilling and inspiring to me. I absolutely adore my job, and I’m so freakin’ grateful to have the honor of documenting such a special occasion for you.

    Jules is the absolute best - it's as simple as that. From the moment we hired her for our wedding, we knew that we had made the right choice. Jules goes above and beyond for her couples - She truly cares about you and is there as a friend through the whole process. Not only is she an exceptionally skilled photographer, she is an incredible human being who gives so much love to the couples that she works with. On the day of our wedding, she brought such a peaceful and upbeat presence and it was beyond amazing to have her with us every step of the way. We trusted her to capture all of our special moments and she exceeded all of our expectations. When looking back at the photos, we are overwhelmed with gratitude. She captured our relationship and wedding day so authentically - we are able to relive every moment and emotion that we felt when looking back at the photos for years to come... and that is all thanks to Scarlet Roots. Update: It's been over a year since our wedding and every time we look at our wedding photos, we are BLOWN AWAY by how well she captured us and our day. The photos never cease to amaze us and we find new favorites all the time. Hiring Jules was one of the best wedding planning decisions we made and we are just SO grateful to know such a phenomenal artist like her. You need Jules in your life ASAP. :)

    I cannot recommend Jules highly enough. As a wedding planner, I tend to be fairly critical when it comes to vendors and Jules stands head and shoulders above them. We first worked together when she photographed my brother's wedding. From the outset, Jules was incredibly prompt with her communication and made us feel like the wedding was just as important to her as it was to us. Her enthusiasm was heartfelt and genuine and made us feel that this very personal process was in wonderful hands. Her photos speak for themselves, but she will also truly exceed your expectations when it comes to communication and her ability to make everyone feel at ease.     Jules is at the #1 top spot of my vendor list. When I'm not available for a wedding or portrait session, I tell everyone to hire HER! Problem is, she's usually pretty booked up because she's THAT popular and good at making her couples feel comfortable and at ease. I have worked dozens of weddings with her and have seen her behind-the-scenes client processes, communication, surprises, the whole Scarlet Roots experience... and she's the real deal inside and out. If you're looking for a bubbly, caring, sweet, hilarious person to guide you through your wedding from the planning process to a year later, you gotta go with Scarlet Roots. She's an absolute rock star in the Boston wedding industry!!!
