I knew that I wanted a bouquet (and to still feel like a bride) but I wasn’t sure how that would hold up in transport. After consulting with Holly at Seascape Florals, she recommended going with a bouquet of silk flowers and greenery. Following that initial consultation, we corresponded several times leading up to my big day and she created multiple bouquets to make sure she gave me exactly what I was looking for. We were so impressed by her professionalism, kindness, and skill that when we decided to host a small reception it was a no-brainer to book Seascape Florals for that function as well. Even on short notice, Holly delivered! She captured my vision perfectly and was so detail-oriented, adding touches throughout the space that I would never have thought of. Choosing to go through with a wedding and reception during the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic came with a lot of rules and they were constantly changing. We reached out to her to set up a Zoom call and knew we wanted to book with her by the time we hung up. She was flexible, realistic about budgets, and had great suggestions and answers to our questions. After our initial Zoom call, she sent us a vision document that included a lot of the wishes we had mentioned and visuals of what she was thinking. It was the most detailed proposal we got from any vendor in the whole wedding process! We were beyond impressed. “When I was looking for floral vendors for my July 2024 wedding in Block Island, I came across Ayla’s Instagram, and I knew immediately I had to work with her. I fell in love with the whimsical, natural, English-garden vibe of her florals, and I just thought she was the coolest person. From the first conversation we had, it felt like she “got” me, suggesting flowers, designs, and concepts better than I could possibly articulate myself. She was incredibly thoughtful putting together multiple proposals that fit our vision and our budget. The entire planning process couldn’t have been easier because of how sweet, communicative, and easy Ayla was to work with. Cut to the wedding day, and I was honestly speechless seeing her work come to life in our tent. Ayla is an ARTIST. She created a gorgeous 65 ft table runner for our head table that was so dreamy I still think about it. The bouquets were exactly what I was looking for - natural and simple but packed a stunning punch. Then there was the tent entrance installation, which was so beautiful on its own but also so thoughtfully designed to enhance the view and setting of our venue. Multiple guests came up to me on the wedding day (and even in the weeks afterwards) commenting on how the florals were some of the most unique and beautiful they had seen. I truly could go on and on. Any questions or additional florals I needed (which was a lot) she replied in a very timely manner and with upmost care, never making me feel like I was a bother. Now onto the florals. I will not shut up about them to whoever I talk to about my wedding. They were beyond stunning. My favorite part of my wedding besides you know… marrying my husband. Was the floral arrangements!! The flowers were all fresh and considering I ordered some flowers that were out of season was an impressive feat to have all them so beautiful. The way she opened up the roses was also amazing. My husband’s Aunt did events and floral arrangements for years and wouldn’t stop raving about the flowers as well. Hayley went above and beyond.
