Historic Poole Forge is a 26-acre site with a preserved historic Ironmaster’s mansion, children’s playground, picnic pavilion, ball field, Nature Trail, Riparian Buffers, wildflower meadows, many beautiful gardens and a covered bridge along the Conestoga River in Eastern Lancaster County. We currently host a wide range of free public events, recreational and educational experiences. We restored our 1770’s Ironmaster’s mansion that serves as a heritage/community center and also a venue for private and public celebrations. We have also expanded our environmental and educational programs and opportunities for both children and adults while continuing our preservation of the Conestoga Creek, historic iron forge and grounds.

We are a historic 1920s Italian Revival mansion with breathtaking riverfront views in a convenient urban location. During your wedding you will have access to the entire mansion, including our Conservatory Ballroom, for your reception. Below is some additional information about weddings at King Mansion. - The Conservatory Ballroom can accommodate 160 guests with a dance floor. For guest counts over 160 we have additional options including a foyer dance floor or a tented reception on our front lawn. - Catering services are not included in our rental fee. We require you to select a caterer from our list of (5) options with varying price ranges to fit your needs & budget. - You are permitted to purchase & provide your alcohol as long as it's served by a licensed and insured bartender. Bell Gate Farm is the perfect backdrop for any kind of event. I have one rule, however, there will never be more than one event per day. I firmly believe that you cannot concentrate and give supreme customer service when there are multiple activities going on the same day. When you rent Bell Gate, you are getting every nook and cranny, and that allows us to play a little bit. We can have a cocktail hour at the pool, but move dinner to the barn, and it feels like you’ve changed venue’s completely. It’s one of our greatest assets to be able to give our clients a robust and fulfilling event experience.

Greenbank is a beautiful setting for your DIY event, with historic charm and a natural outdoor setting by the Red Clay Creek. You’ll want to plan hours before and after your event for setup/decorating and cleanup. You can choose to rent in smaller blocks of time using our Standard Package or take advantage of our Wedding Package: it provides access to the site across two days to allow for stress-free setup, deliveries, rehearsals, photographs, and event preparations, plus cleaning services and other special accommodations.

Hagley Museum and Library is an historic wedding venue in Wilmington, Delaware. The venue is located on the property of a nineteenth-century estate, the original home of the du Pont family, now home to Hagley Museum.
