“I don't even know where to begin with Dre! Choosing your vendors is one of the most stressful tasks leading up to a wedding but let me take some of that pressure of by saying HIRE THIS MAN! Just do it. Before the wedding Dre checked in, asked what our expectations were, ran through what kind of shots we wanted and gave us some great ideas, and helped us with scheduling so we could get every picture we wanted. The day of our wedding he arrived early, introduced himself to everyone, got setup, and went straight to work. Despite never meeting in person, I instantly felt comfortable with him and knew I was in good hands. I really wanted a lot of candid shots throughout the day but was nervous that in order to do so it would require the photographer to be all up in our space and would be a distraction from getting ready and staying on task but Dre is such a professional that he was able to get any and every shot I could've wanted without us even knowing he was snapping away! Come time for the posed photos and Dre was IN CHARGE making sure everyone was where they needed to be and ready to go in order to keep the day moving as planned. The rest of the night went just as perfectly as it had started and when we got our pictures back we were just blown away at how he was able to capture every single person (187 of them) that was in attendance during the short amount of time that everyone was actually all together. Since our wedding we have stayed in touch and Dre has become more of a friend than just a wedding vendor. I even had a friend from High School reach out to me asking if I would recommend him and any chance I get to talk about our wedding photos or how incredible Dre was is a conversation I am excited to have! Like I said earlier, just do it! You will have less than no regrets!”

“Evelyn did our engagement and wedding photos; we couldn't be happier with her work! She was prompt and communicative throughout the booking, asking important questions and being flexible with our plans and needs throughout the whole process. The platform to coordinate payment and view photos were so easy to use. When taking photos, Evelyn brought a sense of calm and fun that made it easy to be comfortable and guided. Neither of us had been photographed before, so we were nervous about posing or interacting with the camera. Evelyn was perfect in giving instruction, offering ideas about poses, and letting us say yes or no if it wasn't our style. She put us at ease while she chatted with us about her and asked questions about our life relationship - it's so easy to bond with her about living in New York City and loving our dogs! Most importantly, she captured the candid moments and closeups of the little details of our day and kept snapping shots that were a true reflection of the spirit of our relationship. When we received our photos, we were blown away at how EVERY photo in our gallery was one that we would print right away! Even our formal photos with family included some candids that made us laugh and smile! She took so many pictures and you can tell she put so much thought into choosing and editing photos to tell the story of our wedding day. Based in Jersey City, I've been photographing weddings since 2010. I have two degrees in photography and wouldn't change a moment of what I do or how I got here. What could be a stagnant portrait, Lauren can turn into a stunning piece of art that evokes not just a specific vibe and mood but also emotion. Also as someone who has some insecurities about being photographed, I was blown away by how beautiful I looked in her photos. We had a few wedding challenges (a gigantic bridal party with 16! bridesmaids! and in-laws who were meeting for the first time at the wedding to start with!), and Lauren made sure she knew what she was walking into beforehand to make sure everything went as smoothly as possible on the day of. And it really really did. As a queer wedding with two brides, it was also really important to both of us to feel like superstars on our special day, and Lauren delivered that in spades. When we told her we wanted to have two aisles and walk down simultaneously, she was more than game for the challenge—she was excited. Finally, beyond her delightful personality, thoughtfulness, and extreme talent—Lauren is responsible for the success of our wedding. She sent us a list of recommended vendors, and we went with most of them. It was such a relief to have vendors pre-vetted by someone who had worked with them multiple times, and each one turned out to be just as good as she said they were. If you are looking for a photographer to capture your wedding, you will not be disappointed with Lauren!”

“Melissa is amazing! My mom’s wedding was Melissa’s first about 8 years ago, my family and I have been cheering her on ever since! When I got engaged I knew immediately who I was going to call for our photos! A total bonus an engagement shoot was included in her wedding package!! She was absolutely amazing to work from start to finish. Great communication the entire time, very helpful and very good under pressure. A few things did not go our way on our wedding day due to weather and time but Melissa immediately had an idea on what to do instead.
