We have space for 2 get ready rooms, honeymoon suites, ceremony space, reception, rehearsal dinner, and gift opening space. Our Mississippi Ballroom- This ballroom can cater any size group up to 300 guests. We offer buffet style or plating for you and your guests. I have attached a menu for your reference on packages, pricing, and menu choices. At Best Western Plus, we will do all the day of for you. Teamed up with our professional catering team, set up staff, and your personal marketing/sales team, we will make sure your day is as magical as it should be. The Best Western Plus marketing/sales team will help you design your perfect day with personal meetings and planning hand in hand with you. Please note, if you meet the food & beverage minimum, there is no room charge.

Our beautiful historical building is located in the Millwork Historical District in Dubuque, Ia. We are the oldest city in the State of Iowa. We offer two different ballrooms. Our smaller one, the Junior, holds up to 175 for a ceremony & 125 for a reception. Our Grand Ballroom holds up to 450 guests. We have shopping, bars, restaurants, an arcade, a courtyard with a megatron tv and a Comedy Bar. There are lots to do in and outside of our building in our district. Our catering in done inhouse, by our celebrity trained Chef. Once you see inside our doors, you will see what the fuss is all about. We offer ample parking and we are handicap accessible. Since our origin on October 12, 1894, the Waterloo Elks Lodge 290 has established itself as a charitable organization throughout our long and prestigious history. By incorporating the four stations of fidelity, brotherly love, charity and justice, the Waterloo Elks have played and will continue to play an active role in the community and Elkdom. As a nonprofit, all money we raise supports veterans, youth and community. The Elks purchased this property in 1917 from the Julian Richards estate. The building was one of the finest oil residences in the city, being well-constructed and large enough to accommodate the lodge temporarily. The building was remodeled to accommodate a ballroom; members bar and card room and billiard room. In the basement there were four bowling alleys, a gymnasium, grill, kitchen and serving pantry, along with showers, lockers and the boiler rooms. The building was dedicated with a cornerstone in 1924, the year the Elks started using it as their Lodge.
