We have two banquet rooms. The larger of the two, the Berkshire room, has a capacity of 100-350 (minimum of 150 on a Saturday and 100 on any other day of the week). The Ruins at Sassafras Museum is the home of the former Shaker Second Family settlement, one of five Shaker settlements in The Mount Lebanon Shaker Village in New Lebanon, New York. Our mission of People Helping Horses Heal People is rooted in the care we provide for all of our rescued horses, including retired Thoroughbred racehorses. We give back to our community through our developmental, youth, and therapy programs. We encourage individual expressiveness, and embrace all ceremony types at our location. We are a horse sanctuary and a working farm, not just an event venue. By having your wedding here, you are funding a nonprofit, benefiting both our horses and community.
