From the moment we first arrived to view the lodge, my wife and I knew this was the place we were going to get married. The property is gorgeous, the pond and the woods make the ideal background for your wedding pictures! The lodge it self is also incredible, from the amount of space to all of the entertainment in the game room to keep the little ones occupied. Sharyn and her crew were incredible to work with and made sure that everything was perfect before we arrived. Having an all inclusive location was a huge deal for us and the lodge provided everything we dreamt of!

In brief, we cannot recommend Meadow Ridge highly enough--the venue is beautiful and unique, but more than that, working with Seneca and her team is a pure joy! They are organized, thoughtful, responsive, and caring. They make you feel like family from the first time you meet and the investment in the success of your wedding day is incredible. Lastly, I was nervous planning a multicultural event with integration of Indian and American wedding traditions in rural Ohio and all our requests and details pertaining to Indian cultural aspects were beautifully integrated into the wedding day! It is clear that hosting excellent and memorable weddings is a proud commitment for the Meadow Ridge team, not just a job they have. Venue: large, beautiful outdoor venue with a covered pavilion. To quote our friend, "I've been to a lot of barn weddings, yours was not a farm wedding, it was a fairytale." The flowers were stunning, the grass was lush, the pond lined with reeds and tall grassed, the sunset was out of a painting. There is a new patio in the larger pavilion which we used as our dance floor, so our guests danced the night away under the stars. The photography team Suzuran has stunning pictures of Meadow Ridge across several seasons! Communication/Planning: Seamless communication with the team, Seneca was always easy to reach and responsive, answering our infinity questions meticulously and graciously adjusting her plans when we had to change ours. Service: So thoughtful and caring, we and our guests were blown away! For instance, the bartenders kept track of what drinks we had as the bride and the groom and came to find us with refills. One of the servers brought over tissues when my parents and I started crying before walking down the aisle. As we mentioned, the integration of elements of Indian culture was phenomenal--Seneca was receptive from our first conversation and worked hard to make our hopes a reality. Having our wedding at Meadow Ridge was an absolute privilege and the success of the day is fully reflective of the incredible team we got to work with--we are just so grateful!

We literally had the wedding of our dreams at Sugar Lake, and I never thought it would have been possible. My vision came to life because of Nadine and her team with Jess and Cailin. Cailin took amazing care of our dogs for the day and it was amazing we could have them there and incorporated in the ceremony. Livia was an absolute DREAM to work with. She was very tentative to our vision, and the entire process from beginning to finish was amazing. The team at Orchard Hills made our vision come to life and everything was so intimate and cozy! Livia was by my side from day one and even played violin for the ceremony. The ceremony was supposed to be outside and it called for rain (and boy did it rain lol!) Livia set up the outside just incase there was a chance it could've been outside. To me that was her going above and beyond. The whole day was a dream come true. If you book your wedding or event here you will not regret it!

first off, I want to say the team at Sun Valley is amazing. They were always so fast to answer all of my questions (and trust me I had plenty). They are kind, fun, and passionate about what they do. The grounds are beautiful. Every single person I encountered through Sun Valley was so kind, making sure everything was perfect and seeing if there was absolutely anything we needed/if there was anything they could do to make the whole experience better. Once it all came together, it couldn’t have been a more beautiful venue. The ponds are stunning and being able to have the ceremony there was absolutely amazing. The inside is so spacious and even with everyone in the building, it never felt crowded or “full”, but it also didn’t look empty. The tile wall behind where the head table goes is stunning. It comes out so well in pictures. Some of the decor didn’t go with our style and they were totally okay with us putting anything that didn’t go in the storage room for the night. I received so many compliments on how it is the most beautiful venue they’ve ever seen. Things I’d like to mention is: there are bed and breakfasts kind of close by, but only hold ?60 people. The closest hotel is a Marriott and it’s 20 minutes away and they only have 1 shuttle that holds 11 people. There isn’t great service out there so Ubers weren’t super easy to get so we rented shuttles. All worked out totally fine, but just something to keep in mind. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with Sun Valley: the look of the ceremony/cocktail hour and reception, the people (literally everyone that works there: AMAZING), the catering options (we chose A Taste of Excellence which we also HIGHLY recommend because wow), the whole experience. I am so beyond thrilled and couldn’t imagine my day anywhere else. I am so thankful for everyone there and had so much fun with them, they were some of my favorite people there. but seriously, I am so happy with my choice of Sun Valley and highly highly recommend!!!! Thank you Sun Valley for making our day so special

Not only are their prices affordable (especially considering how stunning the facility is), but their catering was fantastic—everyone raved about the delicious food. When we unexpectedly had more guests than anticipated, Sam and the team handled it flawlessly. They set up an extra table on the spot and ensured there was more food ready without missing a beat. It was completely seamless! On a day when we were already overwhelmed by emotions and details, La Vera made everything so much easier. The Small Hall can accomodate up to 100 guests and is perfect for baby showers, wedding showers, small corporate meetings, anniversaries, and birthday parties. The Small Hall can also be used for wedding ceremonies. Our Outdoor Pavilion is the perfect summertime gathering spot. We traveled to Las Vegas to get married. We knew we wanted to celebrate with family and friends upon our return home. We wanted it to be a party to remember, with a live band and great food, so we spent a lot of time scouting out possibilites. I wish we would have met up with the team at Music Box first! Right away, we knew it was a win. Not only is the venue GORGEOUS (we had our reception on the lower level in the Supper Club - PERFECT), but it had the capability to provide professional live music, insanely delicious food that our guests were raving about for days afterwards, and the best customer service I could have asked for from the team. And to top it off, they worked with our budget to ensure we could have an amazing event without breaking the bank. Specifically, our coordinator, Marissa, and our server, Christina, went above and beyond to ensure we had the best time of our lives. Our reception was a bit unconventional, but they went with our ideas and made them even better than we could have imagined. The night was so amazing that our guests told us we should have a party just like our reception every five years. I can't recommend Music Box Supper Club any more for your event, I promise it will be a night to remember!!!

My husband and I were married at Laplace in September 2020. It was perfect! They have bridal suites for getting ready and a few different options for ceremony and receptions depending on your style. I loved how easy everything was. We didn't have to worry about anything at all. The set up was done for us. The clean up was done for us. We were able to pick and choose colors, decor, lighting, etc. The food was amazing! It was hot and fresh which is different than other weddings I've attended. For a stress free wedding or any event, this is definitely the place to go!

Hale Farm and Village was everything I could have dreamed of for our special day and more. The beautiful site was unique and every guest raved over the location. Even with the rain, it was stunning. Our wedding was on 9/28/24 so the property was open to the public during the day, but not very busy. We used the east side of the property and it was beyond picture perfect. The pavilion set the most perfect vibes for our reception, and the area behind the Herrick House was a dream come true for our ceremony. My husband and I did a first look and private vows in front of the yellow house, and were able to take photos on the entire property. It was MAGICAL to say the least. But this review is mostly for the AMAZING Miss Dotty. About two months before my wedding, I was notified that the person I had been in contact with and had been planning with was no longer with HF. Obviously, I was stressed and nervous to say the least. But once Dotty was brought on, and after one meeting with her my fears subsided. This amazing person did EVERYTHING in her power to help me achieve the wedding of my dreams. She came up with solutions to any issues, she offered ideas and thoughts for any question I had. This woman worked her butt off the day of my wedding!! With the change in staffing, and promises made from the prior, Dotty went above and beyond to make things happen. She also had a second wedding on the west side of the property the same day, and Dotty seemed to always be around when I needed something. When my ceremony was 45 minutes late... no fault of HF or Dotty (family drama)... and I was on the verge of a breakdown, Dotty came over to me and asked "you want to hear a funny story?" and continued to tell me something funny to distract me, and make me laugh. She made sure I wasn't too shiny from the stress sweat, and helped get things back on track. At one point she had the help of a young man named Alex (I hope that's right) who was just as kind and helpful as she was. Both helped with set up, and tear down. Alex helped fluff my dress before I walked at the ceremony as Dotty was closing and opening the entrance doors for me. They both seemed to make sure that everything could go as best as it could. I know for a fact this day would not have happened, and would not have been as amazing as it was, if not for Dotty. She is a superhero. Hale Farm and Village was truly a dream come true venue for us and our special day. But Dotty was a rock star and I am forever grateful for her, her hard work, and her kindness from the moment I met her. Thank you!!!

The Aviator is a beautiful and modern venue, perfect for our dream wedding of 300 guests. The Aviator staff are highly professional and considerate. We worked with Jen Seidel, operations manager, for an entire year to help our wedding vision come to reality. She was easy to work with, always available, and happy to walk us through any detail, no matter how small. Her calm demeanor was essential while planning a significant day! Positively, The Aviator does all the wedding set-up and the cleaning after the reception, which was one of our top priorities when looking for a venue. They also allowed us time the day before for the bridal party to practice their entrances. The food was absolutely delicious. All guests, including those with meal accommodation changes, were served dinner quickly, and we got a lot of compliments on the food. The drinks were incredible, and the bar service was remarkable. We had an open bar. I can’t repeat enough that the service was exceptional! Everyone at the Aviator was professional, accommodating, easy to work with, and excellent at their jobs. We had so many children at our wedding; all the staff members were patient, mindfull, and helpful. After our wedding, we had guests contact us to communicate how impressed they were with the overall service of the Aviator staff, especially the servers and bartenders! Finally, our wedding wouldn’t have come together without the hard work of the Event Management Team, especially Roula Elias, Aviator Event Manager, whom we worked closely with the day before and the day of the wedding. We had a fabulous wedding reception at the Donauschwaben German Cultural Center (Lenau Park). Their entire staff—from their awesome coordinator Christine to their banquet captain and bar staff—was so kind, so professional, and most importantly made our guests feel welcome and taken care of. Christine came to every meeting organized and prepared. She understands the details as well as the emotions that go into planning a wedding and was a great part of our support system. She is fair and reasonable—even helped us make a German Hall a little more “Italian” for the bride. We could not have asked for a better partner! As for the venue itself, it was the perfect place to host 300 of our closest friends and family. The space was beautiful, bright and happy. Our guests were comfortably seated at 32 round tables of 8 to 10. The team made all of our décor visions come to life. The outdoor patio was welcoming and comfortable for guests as well. The dance floor is huge! Perfect for an Italian tarantella. I would also say the room is set up well acoustically—with 300 people in the room and music playing, you could still hear the other people at your table. The entryway was also perfect for our receiving line. We were happy to see that guests could enjoy their time—whether they wanted to dance the night away, sit and chat, or just enjoy the night air with family. The food was excellent—seriously excellent. We got so many compliments after the wedding! They have their buffet line down to a science with all of our guests being served in a reasonable amount of time. They also did a great job of meeting the needs of our gluten- and dairy-free guests. That is so hard to do when you are feeding so many people, and even these guests said they enjoyed their meals. Finally, the money we spent on this wedding reception was well worth the value. The food and beverage packages are incredibly fair for the quality and the amount of food your guests will be served. We were also able to add appetizers and some special add-ons at a reasonable rate. The linens are provided by a separate vendor, but even those costs were not too bad, and everything looked beautiful when it was decorated! While there are certain rules the venue must follow and sometimes we needed to negotiate the details, Christine was highly transparent and upfront with us, and always worked with us to find the right solution for our day. After hosting our wedding here, we would absolutely do it again with this space and this team. When it comes to the Donauschwaben, we strongly recommend them for your wedding reception and cannot say enough good things about their level of service!

Valley of the Eagles Event Center is a premier wedding venue in the Northeast Ohio region. Valley of the Eagles, approximately a 35-min car ride, is centrally located between Cleveland and Sandusky in Lorain County. After extensive renovation, the banquet facility debuted in late 2019 to provide full catering services for all events. Our space features massive floor-to-ceiling quarry rock walls, earthy tone cherry wood lined ceilings, oversized windows, and roll-up garage doors. Light and bright, the décor is both modern& rustic. And the spacious outdoor deck! Many ceremonies, cocktails, and father&daughter dances have graced the beautiful and lush outdoor grounds, surrounded by the panoramic view of the Black River and the golf course down below. We love providing people with a platform to make memories, whether those great memories come from a meal, a round of golf, or a special event. This is especially true when it comes to weddings, managed by our dedicated and attentive staff.

Thank you for your interest in hosting your special event at Holden Arboretum in Kirtland. We are temporarily pausing the booking of private events for the next several weeks. Daytime Ceremony Only: We offer a ceremony only option at our Butterfly Garden or Rhododendron Garden. An outdoor ceremony only can be scheduled at 10:30am, 1 pm, or 4 pm Tuesday-Saturday, or at 1pm on Sunday. Ceremony only rental includes a two hour rental, an indoor rain location, 45 minute rehearsal, ceremony chairs, time for photos on the grounds, guest parking and admission- as well as staff to assist in the coordination of the ceremony. Evening Reception and Ceremony: Receptions at the Holden Arboretum are held after the arboretum closes to the public and can start as early as 6pm and end as late as 11:00 pm.
