We absolutely LOVED The Springs Waxahachie! What a stunning venue! Chelsea and Michelle were wonderful to work with as well, answering my hundreds of questions along the way! We’ve had many compliments on how beautiful the venue was by all of our guests. It accommodated our 250 guest count perfectly. My biggest critique would be to have an easier system for all of the info they give, and ask for throughout the planning process. They have tons of PDFS and links and google forms and it just was too hard to keep track of it all at times. If they used Honeybook or another platform to keep it all in ONE central hub, that would be a DREAM for planning. Because of it, little things got missed, like neither my planner or I knew we needed table cloths for cocktail hour tables, I had no idea we had to purchase a separate package to have champagne in the bridal suite while getting ready etc.. Mid way through our planning, they offered a new DJ package which we went with and he ended up being awesome- however, we didn’t get to know who our DJ was or talk to him until about 2 weeks before the wedding- That was a bit stressful! Otherwise, I wish we could re-live our wedding day again and again at this venue! There’s no where else we could have imagined being married!

My husband and I got married at Arrowwood on May 26. It was an absolutely amazing experience. We used not only the venue, but the add on services of coordination, decoration, and floral. Everything turned out exactly how I wanted it and I would describe the day as perfect. Every question that I had leading up to the day was answered quickly, kindly, and efficiently. Our coordinator, Bri, truly made the day so easy and fantastic. She was on top of everything from decorations, wrangling groomsmen, and making sure I was having a relaxing/ fabulous time. I could not be more thankful for her help and her guidance in making decisions and the wedding timeline. If you are considering using Arrowwood, do it!!

Saint Rocco’s New York Italian is a celebration of family and a tribute to the culinary heritage of Italian-Americans. We believe that food is love and that a fabulous meal shared with family and friends is an essential part of a life well lived. When you come to Saint Rocco’s, we hope you leave with a full belly and an even fuller heart. Saint Rocco’s interior is also an homage to family with wall-to-wall vintage photos provided by Romano, Valley and other friends and colleagues. And printed on the back of each Saint Rocco’s menu are their personal thoughts about growing up Italian in America. Saint Rocco’s décor is a modern interpretation of the Italian-American clubs that Romano grew up going to with his dad, featuring red and white subway tile, a lively open kitchen and a hand-carved wooden bar that spans the length of the restaurant. It’s the Italian restaurant Dallas has been waiting for.

I am writing to express our utmost satisfaction and appreciation for the wonderful experience we had at "The Devils Back Porch" for our recent reception. We cannot recommend Sam and the entire team at Saint Rocco's enough for their outstanding service and exceptional hospitality. From the moment we arrived, Sam's professionalism and friendliness made us feel at ease. He went above and beyond to ensure that all of our guests were welcomed warmly and had an unforgettable time throughout our event. Sam's attention to detail and genuine care for our guests truly made a difference and contributed significantly to the success of our reception. We were also thoroughly impressed by Sam's ability to collaborate seamlessly with all of our vendors. His efficient coordination ensured that everything ran smoothly, allowing us to relax and enjoy our special day without any worries or stress. Aside from the impeccable service, the highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the remarkable food provided by Saint Rocco's. The flavors, presentation, and quality of the dishes were simply outstanding. Our guests could not stop raving about the delicious menu, and all dietary requirements were catered to with great thoughtfulness and care. Overall, our experience at "The Devils Back Porch" was beyond our expectations. The combination of Sam's exceptional service, the stunning ambiance, and the delectable cuisine created a truly unforgettable evening for us and our cherished guests. We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Sam and the entire team at Saint Rocco's for making our reception phenomenal. Hotel Indigo Dallas Downtown

5.0

Dallas, TX
  • Up to 100 guests
  • All-inclusive
  • Indoor
  • Starts at $2,500

Hotel Indigo, built by Conrad Hilton, is an almost century-old gem conveniently situated in the historic Dallas Arts District, making this property a National Historic Landmark. This hotel was also the very first property to bear the Hilton name and was once the original site for the Dallas Opera House. Now, almost 100 years later, Hotel Indigo Dallas Downtown is still booming and welcomes a multitude of individuals with unique, artistic, sophisticated and vintage backgrounds that are seeking an all-inclusive home away from home but adventurous experience.

My daughter and I wanted a single place close to her wedding venue where wedding guests could stay and we could have the rehearsal dinner. Hotel Indigo was the perfect spot! We were able to use an off-site caterer for the dinner, and the personnel at the Indigo graciously provided the room and all necessities including a limited bar. The room setup occurred seamlessly while we were at the wedding rehearsal, and the guests had a wonderful time. Everyone was delighted with their rooms and the breakfast and bar service in the lobby. The front desk, housekeeping, and valet staff were awesome, providing a sense of humor during a stressful time. Thanks to the event staff (particularly Dawn Freeman and her associates) at the Hotel Indigo for giving us this memorable experience. We definitely recommend the Hotel!!

This was the most amazing venue in DFW for our wedding! My husband and I toured so many venues, and nothing stood out like HOB. Once we chose them, Katie and Tigi were absolutely amazing in making our dream day come true. They were so kind and patient, and they were fully committed to making our event the most magical night ever! There was so little work or effort on our part – HOB was our venue, bar, caterer, service staff, AND security. For a GREAT price. Everyone is STILL talking about how cool and funky our wedding was, saying it was the best they’ve been to! The food and drinks were SO GOOD, and I have ZERO complaints about the product or service we received. 10000000% would choose them again, and would recommend them to any one!

The Carlisle Room

5.0

Dallas, TX
  • Up to 250 guests
  • All-inclusive
  • Indoor
  • Starts at $24,000

The Carlisle Room is located in the historic and newly renovated Lone Star Gas building in the heart of downtown Dallas. Originally built in 1932, The Lone Star Gas building is a combination of traditional Art Deco style and modern luxury. This historic room is 5,500 square feet of pure opulence featuring 20 foot ceilings, original marble walls and terrazzo floors.

I got married at the Carlisle Room a couple weeks ago and it was the best experience! The ceremony is downstairs and the reception is on the first floor in one large room, but you have a ton of freedom in the floor plan. I originally thought the dance floor was going to be too small but it was perfect! There are a few break out spaces in the reception room and we had a photo booth in one area, games in another, there are sofas to lounge and cocktail tables to hang at. We had 3 bartenders and 2 bar stations and it was great! The ceremony room is so beautiful but you can only fit 3-4 people on a row. It makes for a long aisle though. The alter is small so our wedding party had to sit on the side. It was great for us because we wanted to be the only ones up there but still unfortunate that it was too small to hold all of us. Also, the bathrooms are downstairs and they are 3/10. My mom brought a ton of bathroom goodies so I think that distracted people from the mediocracy of them. I got ready at the Statler and walked over (it may as well be connected it’s just next door) and that was perfect. Also, don’t be fooled by all the photos you see of people on the stairs outside because that’s at the church next door. It was 109 degrees when we got married but I really wanted those photos and it was hotter than Hades. Lastly, we were very limited to what was allowed for the send-off. I got biodegradable rose petals (that were approved by the venue) and 15 minutes before send-off I was told that we would get fined 500 which was a big bummer since that was approved by the venue coordinator. Anyways, this is a very honest review but I definitely recommend the Carlisle Room! It is so grand and stunning and our photos make me look back and just be in complete awe of the beauty of it all. And we had very minimal decor because the venue is so beautiful on its own.

Notable features include the "Gulf Oil Corporation" ghost sign and ceramic capped parapets. This 1930's warehouse was historically Brake & Clutch Service Company. Keeping the original name and character throughout, the space has been renovated into a wedding and event space perfect for your next event! Located on Main Street and Exposition Avenue near Downtown Dallas. The venue opened in 2017 and is operated by a mom and two daughters that created this space specifically for special events. The high ceilings, industrial vibe and high-end finish out lend itself to styles both simple and elegant and everything in between.

Walking through Brake and Clutch we immediately knew that is where we wanted to get married! The entire family was incredible to work with and made the wedding planning process so much better and more enjoyable. All of our guest made comments about the venue and how beautiful it was. I would highly recommend Brake and Clutch to anyone!
