Deity Events is an all-inclusive wedding venue. The price you see listed is the price per person including gratuity, and don't worry there is no additional service or administration fees. We are so happy after having our wedding at Deity last Saturday. Everyone involved--the coordinator Anna, the chef, the venue owner, DJ Ben, Kat, and all the staff--were amazing to work with. Our family and friends raved about the decor, food and dancing. Anna is truly a star in how she shepherds everyone through the phases of the evening. Plus, the surrounding area has great hotels and restaurants for other wedding weekend events. (We had a great rehearsal dinner at French Louie.) Highly recommend going with Deity!

I loved having my wedding at Olio! It is definitely apparent that they are pros at hosting weddings through the ease of the planning process and how smoothly our day went. My wedding was planned in only about 4 months and Olio helped make it happen! We definitely could not have had a better wedding in that short amount of planning time without the help of Sarah at Olio. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful and looks great as is without any extra decorations. They also provide lists of preferred caterers and vendors just to help out future clients! This made my planning process a lot easier. I would recommend anyone to choose Olio!

I just had my wedding at Brooklyn Winery last week after being delayed for 2 years due to covid. Every other glowing review is true!! I live in NYC where there are many many options but BK Winery has THE BEST FOOD (not boring bland "wedding food"), the best ambiance, and the most amazing staff. They have this whole wedding planning thing nailed down (you get an event manager who coordinates all of the details of your day, the flow, details with your vendors , etc). If you want to a stress-free wedding where your guests can't stop talking about the food and cool vibe - BK Winery is the way to go! Also I do marketing and events myself as my profession so I can be picky but these guys are amazing - not one detail left behind!

At the turn of the century the company faced a crisis: the site of their mill would be flooded to form the Wachusett Reservoir. Instead of abandoning the mill, the company dismantled it brick by brick and shipped it to its new home in Easthampton, where it was rebuilt on the banks of the Lower Mill Pond. Now, a century later, The Boylston Rooms retains the integrity of the 1814 original mill in every brick and beam. Our rental includes planners and decor at no added cost. Where do I begin? There are so many words, but I can’t gather them together. They were incredible. We had a long engagement and I did not feel stress once due to this wonderful team of people. I literally said to my mom how I will miss talking to them after the wedding. I just got married Saturday. Myles, you literally had an answer for everything. I told everyone if I ever have another life problem I’m just going to reach out to you to see what I should do. Also their mission of reusing wedding decor is amazing. So shout out to the couples before us whose stuff we were able to use. We barely had to bring anything and we donated what we could back to them for future couples. The food was amazing. I will sing their praises forever. USE THIS VENUE!! You will be the happiest, stress-free couple as a result.

Donata and Sarah were endlessly helpful and super fast at responding to all of our many queries on the lead-up. We even had a lot of last-minute changes, right up to the day before the reception, and they did everything they could to accommodate those and to make things easy and stress-free for us. The day went absolutely perfectly, and we felt so looked after by the team. Dave even met us at 6:30 in the morning to bring us to our suites! Our guests can't stop talking about how amazing the venue is. The team decorated the venue even better than we imagined and we were super happy with everything. We couldn't have chosen a better venue and we had such a great time we just wish we could come back and do it all again!

The Walden came through big time on our big day! If you're looking for a Chicago wedding where the ceremony and reception are in one venue space look no further. The Walden was extremely convenient for us and our guests. They also did an amazing job helping us plan the wedding too. They had 2 coordinators who gave us a checklist with every last detail and some we didn't even think about which was very helpful. They would also check in to see how we were doing throughout the year while we were planning. They also recommended a bunch of vendors from previous weddings and all of them were amazing. We also brought in some outside vendors they accommodated. The big thing was the day of everything went flawless! We had 3 day of coordinators who were on top of everything. The food was incredible! I had a guest who was engaged asked where we got it catered. The staff was also great at attending to our every need at our couples table while we got to eat (yes we actually ate at our wedding which was extremely important for my wife). Khalila who was our planning and day of coordinator was a rockstar! When our ceremony ran 15 minutes long, she knew exactly what to do to get us back on track. And when my wife started getting a little bridezillaly she calmed her down right away. All of our guests the next day raved at how much fun they had. It was the perfect day thanks to the perfect venue! I wish I could give 6 out of 5 stars.

We had our wedding here on 10/27 of this year and it was absolutely perfect. Not only was it the perfect time of year, but we lucked out with the weather! Brianne is absolutely fantastic. She stayed on top of everything for us and helped us out a ton! We were able to plan everything in 4 1/2 months with her help! Our day wouldn't have gone so perfectly without her. The food from the Black Barn was delicious, the cake design and flavors were awesome, and the hotel itself was beautiful. Everything went very smoothly and I would highly recommend Diamond Mills to anyone planning a wedding or other occasion!!!

This 1930's warehouse was historically Brake & Clutch Service Company. Keeping the original name and character throughout, the space has been renovated into a wedding and event space perfect for your next event! Located on Main Street and Exposition Avenue near Downtown Dallas. The venue opened in 2017 and is operated by a mom and two daughters that created this space specifically for special events. The high ceilings, industrial vibe and high-end finish out lend itself to styles both simple and elegant and everything in between.

We knew immediately that Brake & Clutch Warehouse was THE perfect place for our wedding and ceremony. Not only is the place perfect, simple, intimate, and elegant - the family who owns the place is so pleasant to work with (that makes all the difference!) They were so responsive and helpful, all the way up until the day of the wedding. We wouldn't have changed a thing about our wedding venue! We loved the simple ceremony room, reception room, nice patio, lovely bride and groom suites, nice restrooms, and their catering (CN catering) was amazing and DELICIOUS. We also loved that we had the venue for the entire day, and the A/C is awesome (very important in TX!) Ever

My husband and I got married at The Spot on West Fifth and we could not have better things to stay about this venue or the staff. Sam and Brooklyn were so easy to work with, flexible, and very organized. They responded quickly and were always friendly with great advice! The venue itself was also wonderful, and there are so many different ways to personalize and make it your own to have the day you truly want. We had such an amazing experience and wedding day there, we would recommend it to anyone! Thanks to the Spot On West Fifth for making our wedding so wonderful!

We actually went with another one of BK venues the 26 Bridge St location. Everything is A la carte but that was great so I got to use all the vendors we wanted without stress. It was smooth and we got 12 hours for the event and they opened an hr earlier which was helpful. Shout out to Darleen she answered all my questions on site.

Our wedding at Balistreri was amazing. The staff was incredible to work with and made everything so easy. The wedding was in October and they were prepared to host us inside or outside right up until the last minute. We used their table flower arrangements and decorations. The flowers could not have been better if I had chosen them myself. Everyone raved about the meal; we did a buffet style. The chef even made a special vegan dish for one guest, which was so kind because we did not want to have to offer a vegan buffet because of one person. The beauty of Balistreri is you can be as controlling or as involved as you want. We were very hands off because we wanted a place that would just do it all for us ... and they did it all -- perfectly!

As a DJ and Photo Booth company, I LOVE working at Mill 1. The event staff is flexible and easy to work with, the food is consistently outstanding, and the venue is beautiful, unique and classy. We had a party vibe in mind for our wedding, and Live Wire went over and above to ensure our night was amazing. This is a family-owned concert venue, and we always felt like we were their only customer. The outdoor space is beautiful for the ceremony, and there’s enough natural beauty for you to not have to worry about too many decorations. The indoor space is great for a DJ or live band and the bar is a wonderful addition. The supplied the bartenders and all of the alcohol, which was one less thing for us to worry about. Live Wire also has local vendors that they prefer to work with, so if you book services with those vendors you get a discount. Our day was amazing, everything went great, and the team at Live Wire was amazing!! I highly recommend for any couple who is looking for a fun vibe for their wedding.

Best decision we made for our wedding was picking this venue. They were by far the easiest most accommodating venue I have ever interacted with. The location is beautiful and makes your special day that much more special. They help you find vendors if needed but are also flexible with letting you pick your own which makes them that much better than the rest. I’d choose this place 1000x over again if I needed too.

We did a partial backyard rental the night before our wedding as a place gather and greet our guests who came into town early. We had 40-50 people in a perfectly sized reserved section in the back of the backyard. The rest of the backyard was lively and energetic with other Threes Brewing guests which added a nice energy to the overall backyard. The Threes staff (I believe their name was Fletcher) taking our drink orders was super friendly and quick. We felt well supported across the night. We also ordered food from Meat Hook (2 x sliders, 2 x chicken sliders, 1 x veggies sliders, 1 x hogs in a blanket) and would order a little more food next time if we did it again. We would definitely have another event with Threes!

I can't say enough amazing things about Perona Farms. They were incredible to work with from the start to the end and they helped us put together an amazing event. Through the entire planning process, Megan was so incredibly helpful. She answered all of our questions, always in a timely manor. The Perona Farms Experience tasting event was so much fun and such a great way to get to experience your venue before your wedding day. Our day of coordinators were incredible, making sure everything was set up correctly, driving us on golf carts around the property for pictures, making sure we had food and drinks available to us at all times so that we could actually eat at our own wedding. Guests raved about the food. So many people couldn't believe there was still dinner after the cocktail hour, because there was so much amazing food there. If you're debating having your wedding at Perona Farms, I'd say it's a no brainer!

Pabst was an all-around fantastic choice for a wedding venue. We loved the antique craftsman feel of the Great Hall -- it required very little decor to look rustic chic and photographed wonderfully. As a bonus, there are plenty of photogenic spots right outside the venue too, including, of course, the iconic PBR sign that lights up at night. The staff day-of coordinator (which comes with the venue booking) were all professional, communicative, seasoned experts, from start to finish. We appreciated how transparent and thorough they were, down to their check-ins on the bar tab during the reception. Despite how busy they are as a venue throughout the year, we never felt like 'one of many.' Highly recommend Pabst!

In the Spring of 2016, our family came together to build this venue in the hopes that we could provide a peaceful place for the most joyful celebrations. We believe that the focus of any celebration should be on the joy you share with the people you love, so we’re here to take care of some of the details. Full access to a storage room packed with decor for your use is included with all rental packages. The Cottage offers multiples rooms and a mirrored salon. The Cabin (dating back to 1905) has been remodeled to serve as a getting ready-space as well. Our Chapel features stained-glass and antique pews. The sides of the chapel can open up to provide the scenery of being outdoors with the convenience of being indoors. The two-story Reception Hall can accommodate up to 250 people. Exposed wooden beams contrast with chandeliers that cast a welcoming glow across the interior. Our venue is located close to modern amenities while still offering a tranquil setting for inspired celebrations.

It is a universe - starting- with most importantly the space - it is truly perfectly designed for a seamlessly transitioned evening, yet flexible for different vibes or sizes. The team at Carlsbad Windmill is top-notch. Friendly, attentive, and really good at their jobs! As a wedding guest last December, I had an incredible time! First off, the ceremony hall is like stepping into a cathedral of light and space. High ceilings? Check. Skylights? Double check. And there's a window wall on your right, so we all caught a mesmerizing silhouette of the bride before her grand entrance: incredible. We headed out to the patio for photos, drinks, a delicious cheese platter, and supersized Jenga, then made our way up to the great hall. The theme was gorgeous with colorful tropical flowers, blue glassware, exposed rafters, and beautiful modern bubble chandeliers. And get this—they had a phone service that turned your well-wishes into an vinyl LP. The dessert bar and drink selection were top-notch and we all loved the buffet. The DJ was fabulous: we danced and danced ... Then 10 steps and we were tucked up in the Carlsbad by the Sea Hotel. We had a great time and highly recommend Carlsbad Windmill by Wedgewood Weddings.

Going through the planning process, their expertise, experience, and genuine care for clients was apparent. The team made it fun to plan the event and incredibly easy. They were readily available to answer all of our questions and made several helpful recommendations. We particularly appreciated their help in selecting a menu and developing a coordinated wine pairing. Because of their attention to detail and careful coordination, we were able to enjoy the reception and focus on our friends and family as we knew we were in good hands. The food of course from the Zahav team was incredible. If we had the opportunity to do it over again, we wouldn’t change a thing.

We LOVED Mercantile Hall! It was the first and only venue we toured. We fell in love with it and knew it was the only venue we wanted. It is beyond beautiful! We used their coordinate package and Destiny was our coordinator. She was truly amazing and made our wedding truly special. I loved that with their coordinator package they handle all the set up and clean up at the end of the night. It was pretty expensive but well worth it in my opinion.

The space is absolutely gorgeous but what really sets this venue apart from any other is Jade. She is so professional and wonderful. The entire day she was there to help and support us in any way we needed. If she wasn't with us she was making sure I didn't have to worry about any other vendors arriving on time or anything else going on in the grand hall. Prior to my wedding day she made sure that she was easy to contact and there if we had any questions or concerns. Jade really made my wedding the easiest, most stress free day I could have ever asked for. I will never be able to thank her enough.

I’ve worked and been to a ton of weddings, and this is easily the best venue I’ve ever been to. I know I sound biased because it was where I had my wedding, but all my guests said it as well. The grounds are beautiful. Between the wild flowers and the view, it will take your breath away. There are so many amazing spots to take photos! The venue provides a golf kart so you can get around quickly without having to hike. All of my photos look like a dream. Inside the venue is so cute. The barn doors behind the bar wood flooring everywhere gives that fresh boho vibe! The bridal suite comes equipped with hair and makeup chairs. It’s a great place to store your stuff throughout the night since the doors lock. The food was absolutely incredible. I had so many guests message me days after saying how it was the best steak they’ve had. The whole staff paid close attention to our families and kept checking in on them. My brother and mother in law are both vegan and they got amazing entrees with fresh ingredients / they made them both huge trays of apps during cocktail hour. Most weddings they only get a plate of vegetables so this was an awesome surprise. With your day comes a coordinator and bridal attendant. We absolutely loved them both! Annie was such a big help from day 1. I never felt stressed because she was there to answer every question, and offer solutions and advice. She made sure our wedding ran smoothly, and truly created the best day of our lives for us. Our attendant Fatima was awesome. She had such a positive attitude and was running around all day for us. She kept making sure our drinks were never empty, and checking that we had everything we needed. I love how the two of them kept creating special alone time for my husband and I making us plates of food so we didn’t miss out. At the end of the night they had everything neatly packed up for us so we didn’t have to stress! I can’t say enough good things about the Garrison. I am so so grateful we decided to have our wedding here, and will spend my life day dreaming about the perfect day they created for us.

We wanted to find a venue where we could be surrounded by plants/nature, and the Stonehurst was the perfect location for us. All of the guests at our wedding could not stop talking about how beautiful the location is. There are plenty of places to use, we had our ceremony behind the barn facing the tree, cocktail hour in the bamboo garden, and dancing in the barn. Maria's attention to detail helped make my wedding the absolute perfect day! My wedding party would not have been able to make it down the aisle without her, we needed a lot of direction and she was happy to help!

We were so lucky to be able to have our wedding reception at Fairlie back in September of 2019. We got engaged in April 2019 and decided we wanted to get married the same year. When we realized there was no way we were going to be find a venue that checked most of the items on our wishlist, we got discouraged. Then we heard about this new venue that technically wasn't open yet but would be ready by the summer. As soon as we walking into Fairlie we knew this had to be our venue. It was somehow exactly what were looking for! The venue completely changes as you live from day to night, super airy and bright during the day and dark and romantic in the evening. We consider ourselves so lucky to have been able to work with Nicole. She is very knowledgeable and great resource to bounce fun ideas off of. Nicole and Alexis really care about the venue and it shows. No little detail is forgotten. They have customizable lighting, a beautiful built in bar, rooms to get ready in. They even allowed our small dog to be there to take some pictures.

The venue is filled with windows looking out onto the bay with the city skyline directly across the bay. The inside space is 7000 square feet with a footprint that is malleable, and is easily and beautifully delineated by racks of wine barrels. Outside is a 5000 square foot patio overlooking the bay. Many lovely ceremonies have taken place there with sailboats drifting by, and seagulls and sea lions making their entrances as well.

My wife and I got married at Millwick in November of 2023. Millwick was the first venue on our list when we started to shop around. We fell in love with the space immediately. After touring it with Ariel, we knew that Millwick would be our wedding venue. We never went through with visiting any other venues. It is such a wonderful oasis. Millwick is in the Arts District, where I spent most of my adulthood visiting restaurants/bars and going out. I also met my wife there, so it was only right to get married there. The staff (Dana, Ariel, Anika, and Clare) were simply wonderful to work with. From their efforts to make us feel at home, keep us informed, and help us bring our day/vision to fruition, to the continuous communication, the ladies at Millwick are a dream team. We have nothing but nice things to say. I would encourage you to visit the space.

This truly is a hidden gem! I never knew SV existed until my fiancé (now husband) and I decided to change our wedding venue TWO months before the big day (Covid-19 played a major role in that). I can honestly say that changing our venue was the best decision we made! Not only did Jennifer accommodate our wedding date but she worked with us up until the very day to make sure everything was just how we had envisioned it to be (we were also very fortunate to be the FIRST wedding under the ownership of Jennifer, Melissa and Scott)! When I walked into SV on my wedding day, I was blown away at how spot on every little detail was. Everything from the entrance table to the layout of the guest tables to the décor was exactly how I wanted it. I love that SV gave me access to their online seating chart so I could do my own layout and make changes up until a couple days before the wedding. Jennifer had very minimal questions for me the week of which is crucial because, as a bride, the week of the wedding is very overwhelming; the last thing you need to worry about is your setup at the venue. SV also provides a spacious bridal suite with a code generated lock where you and your bridal party can store all of your belongings throughout the night. Let's also not forget about the mirrors in the suite that light up at the touch of your finger; I wish I'd spent more time in there but, as everyone always says, the night flies by - and they are right! Another benefit of having your wedding at SV is that the grounds and pond make for beautiful photos! Some of my best photos were captured right next to the pond under a beautiful tree. While having photos taken, it was so refreshing to look over and see our guests fully enjoying cocktail hour that was setup outside with an open bar and delicious appetizers provided by Flour. If you are able to, splurge and rent some colorful linen from Event Source and hire an acoustic musician to play during cocktail hour. It really makes for a magical evening for your friends and family. I cannot tell you how many people commented on how SV was the most beautiful venue they'd ever been to. I couldn't agree more and I can't believe I almost didn't get married there! I really could not have pictured having my wedding anywhere else. If you are stuck between a few venues, do yourself a favor and just go with Sun Valley! Between Jennifer (wedding planner), Melissa (photographer) & Scott (DJ), you are working with three seasoned industry professionals who know how to put on a party! You will not regret your decision!

We were extremely happy with our wedding at Oak Grove! The venue is gorgeous for photos and set up perfectly for a seamless flow throughout the evening. The greenhouse was intimate and unique for the ceremony and the reception is stunning as well. Our wedding coordinator, Sydney, was phenomenal to work with and was great about working with our vendors to ensure our night was seamless! All other Jorgensen vendors (catering, florals, etc.) were responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. Many of our guests stated that the food was the best wedding food they have ever tasted and our florals were beautiful and set up exactly as we discussed. Sydney, the servers, bartenders, and all other event staff did a fantastic job of hosting our guests and bringing our wedding vision to fruition. We had a great experience at the Oak Grove venue and are grateful to have worked with such a kind and hard working team!

WithinSodo was a fabulous choice for our wedding day! They provided such a great space and clear, direct communication in regards to what to expect and what we were getting. We got married in April which I believe was perfect timing weather-wise. Inside was warm but not hot and guests loved having the rooftop for cocktail hour and taking breaks throughout the night. The multiple rooms were fantastic as it allowed us to have karaoke, dancing and photobooth without sacrificing space for ppl to mingle and move about. The bar service they provided was top-notch and totally flexible. They work really hard to honor your budget and needs. Would def recommend WithinSodo for a wedding or any party that would benefit from a multi-functional space.

She was super communicative and kind throughout the whole process. Then - there's the venue itself. We ended up having all three events there. Ceremony (outdoor veranda), Cocktail Hour (upstairs photo studio), Dinner (indoor veranda). Even though it's a "white" space where you have to bring everything in, we LOVED this component because we felt like we were able to design our wedding from start to finish. The blank canvas provided us with an opportunity to really add our own personality. This was the first decision we made when it came to our wedding planning and it was the BEST one we could've made. I cannot recommend Loft on Lake highly enough. The space is just beautiful! We knew we wanted to have our wedding there as soon as we walked into the event space. The decorations are simple and lovely and recreate a wonderful warm and inviting environment. So many of our guests commented on how beautiful the space was. We didn't use any additional decorations as the exposed brick and curtained walls provided all the ambiance needed. Jill was also so wonderful to work with. She was responsive to all forms of communication and quick to answer any questions. Other vendors also commented on how much they enjoy working with her. Before the wedding, he would always respond to my emails and questions, and was very accommodating with what we wanted. Anything we threw at him, he would make it work. He has such a calm presence, too, which is VERY needed on your wedding day! Robert was our personal right-hand man to me and my husband on our wedding day, and he was amazing!! He made sure we had time to ourselves amongst the chaos of the evening, he made sure we ate our delicious dinner, and he even helped me with my train and veil during pictures and bustled my dress before the reception!! Rehearsal and decor pickups were super stress-free and easy too. Thank you to everyone at Union Station for making our wedding the best day of our lives (so far)!!!

They have a magical bamboo forest that can be used for a ceremony or cocktail hour. It is a must see! The venue building is gorgeous with nice well appointed rooms to get ready. They have a putting green and fire pit off of the grooms room. There is a tiny home (gorgeous and modern) to rent for the night as well as a bigger house on the property that sits on Lake Wylie. I had my wedding reception at Fox Meadow Barn and it was absolutely perfect! From the moment I reached out to Dixie, the owner and manager, I knew I had made the right choice. She was so easy to work with and always responded quickly to all my questions. Not only that, she provided resources to help me find vendors for all the services I needed. She truly goes above and beyond for her clients! The venue itself was beautiful and so well maintained. We especially loved the covered patio for our guests to enjoy cocktail hour and a break from the dancefloor. On top of that, the cows on the neighboring farm even seemed to want to join in the wedding celebration and came as close to the barn as possible. It was so cute and made for the perfect backdrop for our pictures. I would give Fox Meadow Barn 5 stars for their amazing service and beautiful venue. I am so happy I chose them for my wedding and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for an amazing wedding venue!

Through all the ups and downs of the covid restrictions the venue was super easy to work with and Alyssa maintained constant communication with us throughout. The venue was so perfect and turned out so beautiful. My wife and I still talk about just how amazed we were with how everything looked. The bridal suite was perfect for the bride and all the bridesmaids to get ready in so that was an awesome perk of the venue. All of our guests loved the beer and wine selections and there were a ton of great spots for photos in the venue and a ton of great spots around the outside of the venue as well. A little while ago I reached out to The 3 Ten Event Venue to host my parents' 50th Wedding Anniversary. From that moment on it was an amazing experience! The First 10: Communication. I had a lot of questions about the space, how things would work (this was coming out of a lot of unknowns from the Covid restrictions and such). Every question was answered promptly with a wealth of information. It truly made me feel at ease and knew that this would be a good experience. As we progressed with the planning and details the coordinators really helped. I thought I was pretty savvy with planning and ideas, but their suggestions and guidance really brought it all together. The Second 10: The Space. For our size of group, the upstairs was a perfect spot. I love historic buildings and the way they designed the space really celebrates the history, but also incorporates modern amenities that bring a fresh feel. It was great for our anniversary party, but I could see hosting pretty much any occasion there. The Third 10: Service. Echoing the great communication I mentioned earlier, the service seamlessly took up the reins when our event began. All the details were on point. Staff was all very professional and attentive. I know that The 3 Ten hosts a lot of weddings and that really showed with this 50th Wedding Anniversary - it all came together in a way that really celebrated their wedding. While most of us at the event were not there when they were married 50 years ago, we all left with feeling closer to it than before, a new of sense appreciation and celebrating that day. It was just touches that they did that I didn't expect and it was executed beautifully.

Chrysler Commons is an Industrial Urban venue located on the east side of Buffalo Missouri's historic downtown square. We are located just 35 miles north of Springfield. Our indoor space is a 100+ year old building with abundant brick and iron details. the wooden beam ceilings were left open and the chandeliers offer a delicate accent. The speak easy is located just off the indoor space and offers a "hidden" quality, rich in retro style and vintage decor. We recently got hitched (4.6.24) and had our rehearsal dinner at Porta. It was phenomenal!! We ended up using the private/ side room (I think it's called the Monk Room) and it was perfect for our group of 20. The entire vibe was so cute and the waitresses/bartender were so accommodating and on top of everything. Everyone left with a full belly and just excited for the next day. We still have people bring up how great the food was. Kudos to Chandler who helped organize everything. We couldn't thank the Porta team enough.

How much do wedding & reception venues cost?

The cost of wedding venues varies, with factors influencing cost including size, location, guest count, and, most importantly, whether things like catering and rentals are included. The more a reception venue near you includes, the higher the cost. When considering venues, try to compare prices apples-to-apples. If one venue includes catering and rentals in their pricing and the other doesn’t, you need to figure out how much additional cost those outside vendors would be to make a true comparison. Before booking, be sure you’re aware of additional costs outlined in your contract, like parking fees and weather-related considerations (adding a tent, etc.).

What questions should we ask wedding venues?

When talking with a potential venue, always ask about 1) their availability and 2) their capacity. Some popular venues book up peak season Saturdays nearly 2 years in advance—if your first choice date isn’t available, consider your flexibility on day of the week and year. While maximum capacity is non-negotiable, venues might have guidance on what guest count will be most comfortable. Also, you’ll want to understand what is and is not included in the venue’s fees.
