Standing the test of time since the 1800’s, the Baum Opera House has played a significant role in the life and history of Miamisburg. Constructed by Charles Baum, a German immigrant and businessman, it began as the Star City Opera House, one of the finest in Ohio. For 135 years the Opera House has contributed to the culture and history of the city and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

In addition to our outdoor ceremony sites and indoor reception venues we offer weddings and receptions under a tent on our beautiful lawn near the Education Center! THE GEM by Christopher's is a full-service venue for weddings, receptions, parties, business meetings, and much more. Rentals or Turn-Key solutions. Amazing food and service from the Christopher's staff. THE GEM, where one call does it all. The GEM, situated inside a renovated former church, is located at 3425 Valley St. in Dayton. For many years, the space was also home to a former banquet hall, according to The GEM owners, husband and wife, Dave and Erika Krites of Centerville.

We have 4 beautiful banquet rooms that over look the golf course. With a covered patio called the terrace room. All the rooms open up to each other. We can hold up to 175 guests. We provide all catering through our in house chef. We provide all services, food, bar, set-up, tear down, linens, napkins and China, staffing and bartenders. All you have to bring is a DJ, dessert, photographer, minister, and florist. We also provide you with an event coordinator for the entire day. Along with rehearsal scheduled the day before your wedding.
