As a film and digital photographer ("hybrid" if you will!), I take a big step back to capture your memories with intention, love, and honesty - my promise to you, is to treat your day as if it were my own. Film is my favorite medium to capture wedding days on, as I feel it brings back a level of authenticity, imperfection, and refined elegance that is irreplaceable.

Along with being the owner of Larsen Wedding Photography and the man behind the camera lens for your wedding, I am also a husband, a father of four, and a USMC Veteran. I live off caffeine (Did I mention I have four kids?) and Sour Patch Kids, which means there is a good chance I will show up to your wedding with a Redbull in hand! My path into photography started when my wife brought me along as her second shooter and has grown into me taking over photographing weddings with her, occasionally, second shooting for me.

I’m a local resident and photographer in the Clarksville and Nashville area of Tennessee. I’ve learned a lot about photography from an academic level at APSU. I've spent many hours in the darkroom working with 35mm film, learning about the masters of photography, digital photography concepts, and the abilities needed to get the details and compositions just right. My curiosity of the world around me, no matter where I am, is a driving force for my photographs. From weddings to hiking mountains, I want to tell stories with my images and hope that they can inspire, captivate, and spark emotion in the people that view them.

Because every human is the image of God, documenting their lives through the media of photography is no trivial thing. It is breathtaking. I am a Tennessee-raised hillbilly who grew up raising chickens, hunting squirrels, building forts, and mowing lawns. After earning my Bachelor of Arts at Bethlehem College and Seminary in Minneapolis, MN, I have since moved home to Clarksville, TN. I have been an automotive technician for six years, a telecommunications technician for two, a barista for two, a Chick-fil-A employee for two, and a missionary in Africa for two (lots of 2's, I know). And now, I am a Realtor and Wedding Photographer.
