We have conducted weddings at the Dolphin Beach Resort for 22 years. The location is so convenient for couples as the bride and groom's Gulf front room is a minimum of steps onto the beach where the setting will be. Many of our couples & their guests also enjoyed their reception at the property. The resort is an affordable, convenient and fun location we highly recommend.

Overall, the planning process was easy, and the team was very communicative. There were a few hiccups with booking our room block (related to the quoted rate and the site not letting guests book longer than the weekend nights), but once that was resolved most everything else was smooth sailing. The venue is stunning - our guests enjoyed the rooms and food. And even though we had to make the last minute call to move our welcome reception indoors due to the weather, the Zamora team made it happen and it ended up being great! The only things I would improve was that there was not enough shade for our morning rooftop wedding and there were issues with the audio. We knew having an August wedding in Florida would be hot, but there needs to be more shade options on the rooftop - it is such a beautiful venue and makes for stunning photos, but we were all miserably hot! The issues with audio were due to the AV guy not knowing how to hook my laptop with all my playlists up to the sound system. Frustrating but my day of coordinator stepped in and did the best she could to salvage it.

Wow I can’t say enough great things about Melissa and the team at Isla del Sol. Not only was the venue just beautiful but they took care of EVERYTHING and it was the easiest process to plan. I am an out of town bride, so having an all-inclusive venue was super important to me. Isla del sol takes care of everything from ceremony, to tables/linens to dining, to food and alcohol and a full team of staff. The food was amazing. The venue and atmosphere were everything I could have dreamed. Melissa and the staff are the most friendly and welcoming individuals. Melissa is so on top of it, super quick to respond, stayed in touch during our long year & half engagement, and worked with us to schedule any tours/tastings around the dates we were in town. One of the best parts, is that you will be the ONLY bride during your wedding weekend. We were able to do rehearsal the night before and the day of had the entire bridal suite and groom suite to ourselves and could enter any time we wanted. We also brought all the décor the night before, so it made it so much easier the day of. I would recommend Isla del Sol to anyone who ever wants to get married in the St Pete area. They made my wedding better than I could have even dreamed.

Cross Creek is the most beautiful venue and there were so many people working to make sure our day went smoothly. Me and my husband felt very taken care of on our wedding day, but also throughout the entire process of wedding planning. People would ask me if I was stressed about wedding planning and the honest answer was always no because Cross Creek does it all for you!! They really nailed my vision for our day, which is saying something because I am very picky. Our wedding coordinator, Holly, was amazing! When I heard about the Colonial at Sunset and its location, I assumed it was going to be another barn venue. Nothing wrong with barn venues, it just wasn’t our vision for our day. The entire property was our backyard wedding dream and the owners made our experience better than we could have imagined. Britt and her husband went above and beyond for us. Before we even arrived to start getting ready for the day, her husband was out front pressure washing the outdoor area where we chose to have our ceremony. I am so grateful for their hearts and the details they payed attention to so we didn’t have to worry about it or even think about it. We opted for the all inclusive package which made our experience with planning that much easier. I recall one meeting asking if I was missing anything or if there was anything more I needed to do because it all felt too easy and she assured me that with her help, that’s how it was supposed to feel. Leading up to the day of the wedding we knew we wanted our focus to be on each other and God and walking into the day we knew we could confidently do that because of Britt and the way she serves others on their special day with excellence. If you’re not just looking for a venue but a family who cares about you and your day, then you should stop looking because you’ve found it with the Colonial at Sunset and their amazing team.

This was the best find out of all the wedding process. Cindy and her venue were amazing. Super kind, fantastic service and worked really hard to make our dreams come too. We were on a really tight budget but monarch Meadows is stunning and affordable. Alot is included in the price. Even if I had all the budget in the world for our wedding, I would still have chosen this venue. Thank you Cindy for everything!

We were so lucky with weather and the sunset, the night was absolutely amazing! Our wedding date was November 12. We had the ceremony on the beach and then the reception was under the pavilion. We decorated mainly with string lights and the vibe was everything I wanted for an island beach wedding. Molly helped us plan and Jess was our day of coordinator, both did an excellent job. Nothing major went wrong and Jess helped keep everything on track. The only real downside was the guests have to use the bathrooms that are inside the restaurant.

My sister and I held our parents’ joint 80th birthday party this past October 2024 at Lithia Acres. We had about 70 guests, some who came from all over the world. This venue is absolutely breathtaking with its rustic charm and beautiful trees surrounding the property. There are so many things you will LOVE about holding an event here. Once you view the property and confirm your event date, the staff has an awesome online portal to keep you stress-free and organized with any vendors you hire; to answer daily questions you may have all the way down to how you want the tables and chairs organized. In addition, they give you the freedom to design your own party by either doing your own personal decorations or hiring a party planner. There is an amazing outside area for cocktail tables and even games for the kids along with a cozy firepit. The raves we received for the simple beauty of this venue were endless. Our vendors hired were top notch and would hire them again in a heartbeat- Adam Harris with Cater Tampa. He served steak, shrimp, veggies, salad and my personal favorite, a mashed potato bar. He also created beautiful charcuterie table. The cake was from Moreno Bakery. Our DJ was with Events Done Right. Our lovely bartender was with Hook Line and Drinker. Did I have a single issue with this party? NONE! Everything went perfectly, just as planned. Honestly, I cannot say enough about how incredible nice and helpful EVERYONE at Lithia Acres was from the first day we met through end of my parents’ party. I give my highest recommendations to Lithia Acres as a perfect and unique venue for any special occasion!

I am so incredibly thrilled we decided to have our wedding at Palma Sola Botanical Park. From the first time we visited, we got such a good vibe from them. The park is absolutely beautiful, well-maintained and incredibly quiet. This location is DIY, which means you get the flexibility to pull together the event YOU want and they provide all of the information, answers and support you'd need along the way. Powel Crosley built the Florida winter home for his wife, Gwendolyn, in 1929. The two-and-a-half-story Mediterranean mansion was built in the southwest corner of Bradenton on a 60-acre parcel of land on Sarasota Bay adjacent to the John Ringling Estate. The 11,000-square-foot home has 21 rooms and 10 baths, and an adjacent carriage house has room for three cars and servants' quarters on the second floor. Originally the mansion had a swimming pool, a seaplane dock and yacht basin. The home featured many innovations for its time, including a steel frame encased in cast stone, embedded pipes and wiring, and a 135-day construction schedule. Placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982, Seagate was saved from commercial development and purchased for renovation by Manatee County, which operates it as a meeting, conference and event venue.

The Terrace Hotel Lakeland, Tapestry Collection by Hilton was the perfect venue for our small wedding of 20 guests. From the start, their communication was responsive, accommodating, and of impeccable quality. The historic hotel provided a beautiful, intimate setting with a great view overlooking Lake Mirror. The food and service from the wonderful staff were fantastic. We are so glad to have had our wedding at The Terrace Hotel - everything was perfect!
