This venue and its all-inclusive vendors over promise and underdeliver. Throughout our wedding planning experience with them we were provided with an unreliable wedding planner, an unorganized wedding designer, and a florist who never showed.   Horrible experience after we purchased an all-inclusive package. Included was a wedding planner who consistently canceled, a designer who was unprepared, and a florist who no called no showed. Lithia Acres did not take any accountability for the actions, or lack of actions, for the vendors they advertise. You'll be left with a lot of uncertainty.   Terrible experience with this company. Their sales lady is fantastic at promising you a smooth and convenient wedding experience, when in reality they were unorganized, unreliable, and we were constantly told we were not a priority. Disappointing to say the least.

The venue is cute but their business practices are questionable. After having multiple concerns about lack of execution throughout our wedding planning process, we brought these concerns to the venue coordinator and the owner. As a result, were met with unaccountability, condescension, and basically high school level drama. We lost about 15,000 to this venue who advertises themselves to be a Christian company who practices Christian values. Interesting…

My husband and I loved how our wedding turned out at Lithia Acres. Their all-inclusive team was great to work with. The property is beautiful and well-maintained. Their hospitality for all of our guests did not go unnoticed. We are still receiving so many compliments about our wedding at Lithia Acres and the venue team!

  • Beautiful venue, but disappointing communication

The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, and our wedding day will always be a cherished memory. However, I feel compelled to share my experience regarding the planning and coordination process, which fell short of expectations—especially given the significant time, effort, and money invested in this destination wedding. As a long-distance bride living in California, I relied heavily on the venue's planning team, trusting their expertise to help create a seamless day. Unfortunately, communication was sparse; over the course of an entire year, I had maybe three calls with the planners. Many details that were communicated and planned simply did not happen on the wedding day, which caused unnecessary stress for me and my family. On the morning of the wedding, instead of spending precious time with my bridal party, parts of my party and I were running around dealing with last-minute tasks. This included assembling items and addressing things that had been promised by the planning team but weren’t handled. My family and friends ended up doing far more than they should have—putting together pieces and helping out when they should have been enjoying the morning. I also was not given a walkthrough the morning of the wedding. I had to rely on a bridesman to show me the space via FaceTime, which was incredibly frustrating. There were also items in the space I had not approved, and signature drinks I had requested were not communicated to the bar staff. The seating chart was very disappointing; I had seen examples of gorgeous charts, but what was provided didn’t reflect what I wanted and didn’t even include the correct information. Additionally, I had explicitly stated that guests should only be assigned a table, not individual seats, but the team decided to assign seats anyway, going against my instructions. I also asked for guest envelopes to be left on the tables, which was not done as planned. There were also key issues the week of the wedding, including last-minute changes to where items like rugs could be laid out and inconsistent instructions about when and where we could drop off wedding items. This led to so much back-and-forth that it cut into time I wanted to spend with my family, who had traveled from afar. The lack of proper cleanup arrangements was another major disappointment. My mother ended up having to clean up after the wedding when she should have been able to go home and rest. We also had to take everything home that night, which was incredibly stressful, as I had been told we would be able to retrieve items the next day. Instead of enjoying the evening with my loved ones, I found myself worried about logistics and packing. I understand that unexpected challenges arise—for example, debris from a hurricane is completely understandable—but I wasn’t informed about this or other changes, like the addition of a new bar cart, until the day of. These lapses in communication were incredibly frustrating and avoidable. Brides and couples, especially those planning from a distance, deserve consistent updates and reassurances that their vision is being executed. I truly wanted this to be a stress-free experience for my loved ones and myself, but the lack of follow-through made that difficult. I hope the venue takes this feedback to heart because with better planning and communication, it truly has the ability to provide exceptional weddings.

Thank you for taking the time to highlight your experience. Everything came together, and I hope the memories and beautiful photos capture the day and keep a placeholder in your mind as the day you married your best friend. It was terrific working with you, and I hope some of the moments where Lithia Acres went above and beyond stick out -- we went to the store for you because you forgot something or allowed you to ship items to my home during the planning process. The guests and vendors we met were thrilled with the day—wishing you all the best and will work on improving areas you mentioned.
