Four period furnished homes have been artfully preserved creating a true architectural treasure amidst idyllic surroundings located a few miles from downtown Athens, GA. These homes are available as rental accommodations on both a short and long term basis. Our two story grist mill dates back to 1860. Hold your event on the newly constructed decks surrounding the original structure. Mill Creek is an intimate wedding and event center for all occasions, nestled on 10 wooded acres in Griffin, Georgia located on US-19 right on the Pike County line. Our venue features amenities found nowhere else including the pre-civil war grist mill, open air pavilion overlooking the creek side ceremony area, a large cottage house dedicated to our couples to get ready in. You will love the bridal side and a private groom’s loft. In addition, the venue has onsite decor, catering prep area and 3 guest restrooms conveniently located.

These lush, beautiful gardens back up to 135 acres of protected woodlands and are the perfect setting for your wedding ceremony. You'll be surrounded by hundreds of azaleas, hostas, ferns, Japanese maples and the natural wildwood on your special day. Guests will be free to relax on our patios or along the path following the creek. We make everything easy and simple from setting up your decorations to packing them up when you depart so you can focus on what matters on your wedding day - each other. We're an outdoor venue with 2 options for your ceremony - the Gazebo or the Azalea Meadow. Either space can accommodate up to 25 people.
