I am a caffeine addict who never sleeps. I love a good thunderstorm and playing Candy Crush for the brain breaks. I adore all kinds of dogs, but I have a special love for German Shepherds. My all-time favorite thing is to sit by the fire with a glass of good cabernet or watch the ocean waves hit the beach. I love to garden and to build things (but I let my husband to finish all my projects LOL). I enjoy good food and will likely refer to a stand up comedy routine at least once in a conversation. I am also a football mom, lacrosse mom and basketball mom. Wife to a very understanding husband and emotional support person for my big puppies.

Hey, I'm Mary! It's nice to meet you. Summing up who I am in an "about me" is always difficult. What you must know: (1) I'm a nerd. If you want to talk video games, LOTR or Doctor Who, we HAVE to sit down for a bourbon or a coffee. (2) Yes, I will be out on that dance floor with you snapping away while joining in on the fun. And (3), while I'm a photographer first, supporting you during the planning process feels crucial to me - from building a timeline to having your back any way I can.

Awarded Best of Zola
Mary was with us through our proposal, engagement, and wedding journey. She captured all of our special moments so perfectly. She is professional and always communicated with us to deliver us her best work!! We couldn’t have asked for a better person to capture our most perfect memories.

Capture the North was founded by multi-award-winning, and published photographer Sarah K. Marshall, and her husband, Christopher Marshall. Both are Marine Corps veterans and native New Englanders. Despite traveling across the world while serving in the Marine Corps, there is still something so magical about the New England area for them. Sarah was named Department of Defense Military Photographer of the Year 2020, and Marine Corps Photographer of the Year 2020 + 2021. Her work has been displayed in the National Museum of the Marine Corps and her imagery was the cover art of Leatherneck Magazine.

Awarded Best of Zola
Sarah is an amazing photographer. I looked at probably a dozen other photographers for our wedding, but my fiancé and I were both super impressed with Sarah’s work and affordability. We recently had our engagement photos done and I was an anxious mess since I don’t normally wear make up or have my photos taken. However, I’m OBSESSED with how the photos came out. I feel so pretty looking at them and they truly represent our love and goofy relationship. Cannot wait to see the photos from our wedding next year.

Hi there! I’m Emma CotéEwers, your East Coast & Destination Wedding and Lifestyle Photographer! My work is a seamless blend of traditional heirloom portraiture, lively artistic shots, and a little photojournalism if the day calls for it. With a true-to-color, film-inspired approach, I strive to craft visuals that capture love, laughter, and those beautifully authentic moments that weave together the story of your wedding! I feel like these should include fun facts? Patsy Cline’s Walkin’ After Midnight is my favorite song and I am currently on my 8th nostalgic binge of Gilmore Girls (which might just be fueling my banter lately).

Awarded Best of Zola
Emma was an absolute dream to work with! Quick to respond to messages; very helpful with location scouting and wardrobe choices. She promised to have our gallery edited and delivered within 2 weeks of our shoot date and she did not disappoint! My fiancé and I are absolutely in love with our photos - they're everything we had hoped for, and then some! I sent Emma a plethora of inspo photos on Pinterest and now I feel like I have my very own Pinterest board of photos that are all of me and my fiancé - they are perfection! We hope to work with Emma again in the future - cannot recommend her enough!

For as long as I can remember I have always loved to create. My passion for photography started when I was a teen. As I honed in on my craft I began to photograph on a more professional level right out of high school, but stepped away for academic pursuits. After completing both a bachelors and master's degree in Anthropology, I came full circle, determining that a career in doing something creative was where my heart lies. Whether it is your wedding, or any other special moment in your life, I cherish the opportunity to document it in a way that highlights the artistic elements, while still capturing an authenticness that is uniquely you.

Awarded Best of Zola
Alyssa Marie Photography was a fantastic choice for our wedding photographer. From the very beginning, their communication was excellent - they were always prompt in responding to our questions and followed up to ensure we were on the same page. On the day of the wedding, Alyssa was a pleasure to work with, guiding us into the perfect poses and capturing beautiful, natural shots that truly reflected the joy of our special day. The final photos were of incredible quality, with beautiful editing that made every moment shine. Alyssa and her team were thorough in getting all the shots we requested, and we couldn't be happier with the beautiful memories they've preserved for us. We highly recommend Alyssa Marie Photography to any couple looking for an experienced, talented, and personable wedding photographer.

Growing up in the suburbs of Boston and attending undergrad in Connecticut, I’m a true New England gal. Winter holds a special place in my heart, as I embrace the beauty and charm of every location I photograph. I’m always delighted to travel wherever your love story takes you—even an Aspen winter elopement. That would honestly make my heart smile! 😊 My mission: create timeless, heirloom-quality artwork that reflects the unique connection & individuality of each couple I have the honor to serve.

But after finding LaDonna through a Facebook ad, I immediately knew I wouldn’t have to worry if she was our photographer. She took the time to understand me and helped me find my confidence in front of the camera. By the wedding day, I felt completely at ease and able to focus on the moment with my husband rather than my insecurities in my head. LaDonna and the LT² team captured everything beautifully, balancing candid moments with fine art shots that truly tell our story. The photos are so authentic, and I’ll cherish these memories forever, along with the confidence I gained. Thank you, LaDonna, for an unforgettable experience! 3 7.27.24

Kristin Griffin Photography

  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $2,750
  • Serves Cotuit, MA

I shot my first wedding in 2004, and from that moment on, I was hooked! It's an honor to witness and capture such an important moment in the lives of my couples. Before specializing in weddings, I focused on fine art and night photography. I earned a BFA degree in studio art from the University of Notre Dame (Go Irish!), and a MFA degree in imaging arts/photography from Rochester Institute of Technology. I taught black and white, digital, alternative process and studio photography at the high school, university and adult education levels. I love both the planned events and the unintentional, quiet moments that make a wedding unique!

We knew going into wedding planning that we wanted a videographer, so we searched online and visited some wedding expos. We met Kristin at a wedding expo and met with her over Zoom a couple times during the wedding planning process. From the beginning, it was fun talking to her about her services, and it was clear that she was punctual, helpful, and professional! We loved her videos she had on her website. During our initial Zoom meeting, we had talked to Kristin about what we were looking for on our wedding day. We definitely wanted to capture the most important parts of the wedding, like the ceremony, portions of the family, wedding party and bride and groom photos, the reception entrances, our first dance, our parent dances, cake cutting, brides bouquet toss, etc. After our Zoom meeting, we knew she was the right fit for what we wanted on our wedding day and we decided to book her! A few weeks before the wedding, Kristin sent us a wedding questionnaire for our specific details about our day to make sure everything was perfect on her end. And on the wedding day, Kristin was awesome! She was able to capture all the special moments of the wedding, and she even got so much more that we were too busy to see the day of. She got some beautiful video of the dress and footage from the bridal prep, as well as a gorgeous shot of the wedding details with my dress in the background. It was a nice piece to see in our wedding video! In the reception space, she captured every detail from the sweetheart table, guest reception tables, guest book, memorial table, seating chart, gift and card table. During the Table Dash to get pictures with all of the guests, Kristin was running around with us to capture those moments! She got a ton of fun and hilarious footage of our guests dancing during the reception as well! We have watched the videos multiple times already, and we (well, especially my husband) can’t help but tear up seeing the beautiful footage and music of our special day. We received four videos: a trailer, a highlights video, a video of the ceremony, and a reception video. Right before the wedding, Kristin asked us for a list of music to use for our videos; we sent her a list of 10-15 songs to choose from, and she used our first dance song for our trailer and five songs for our highlights video. The drone footage, the slow motion effects, the black-and-white portions, and all the amazing editing make the videos all that much better. We received the Vimeo links to our videos just two and a half weeks after the wedding and couldn’t wait to watch them! When we received the USB of our trailer and highlights video, it came in a beautiful wooden keepsake box. After we watched the Vimeo links, we noticed we didn’t have any portions of Kayla and her dad doing air guitar to AC/DC. I emailed Kristin back asking if she could add a little bit of the footage, and she was able to add it right at the end of our reception video, which will be a nice memory for Kayla and her dad! If you’re looking for a fun and professional videographer, look no further than Kristin!

A Charleston Wedding Photographer with a fierce love for storytelling, fostering memories and capturing those moments that you will want to treasure forever. I get to tell your story. And, I think that’s pretty cool. I love traveling everywhere and anywhere, talking with my hands, buying plants (and attempting to keep them alive), and spending as much time as I can with my loved ones. I have lived in Boston, Paris, and New York City, and am now lucky enough to call Charleston home, while also still traveling the world for my clients. You can usually find me on my back porch in downtown Charleston, right next to my favorite little park.

tldr: Jessica is amazing and I don’t think you can go wrong with her if this is the style of photos you like I had a lot of difficulty picking a photographer as I’m pretty picky with photos. I knew I wanted something bright and light, with kind of a whimsical or ethereal vibe, but it was really hard finding the style until I came across the “fine art” style. Jessica’s name came up while researching this style and I decided to reach out to her among a few other fine art photographers. I definitely hoped talks would go well with Jessica as the others I contacted ended up either not responding or were wildly out of my budget. Pre-Planning: Jessica was wonderful throughout this process. She promptly responded to my emails and answered questions clearly. I never felt like I was left in the dark for any part of the process. When I sent her the timeline of the ceremony/reception, she quickly came up with a timeline to slot in all the photos to be taken ahead of time at the location (We had access to the venue for a little over an hour prior to the ceremony). She also asked for a list of family photos that we wanted to take. This made it very easy at the wedding as she could call out people’s name to make sure everyone that was supposed to be in the pictures, were in the pictures. Jessica also sent over a list of ideas for detail shots and explained she could do this ahead of time. We didn’t want extra pictures of these and decided against it, however, I still thought it was very thoughtful of her to offer. Wedding Day: I loved her energy at the wedding. She was very calm and felt very competent. She directed my husband and I throughout the pictures, showing us poses etc. During family and wedding party photos, even though we had many bodies to fit in the frame in quite a few pictures, she led us through them with ease and the entire experience was very stress free (or as stress free as can be at a wedding lol). The venue was quite dim at specific locations, but the final results did not reflect that at all. The pictures were bright and did not look like they were taken in the dark at all. (This is a little off topic but I loved the little apron with pockets she wore for her equipment. So cute) I’m not sure when Jessica had the time, but there were pictures around the venue which were so beautiful. I definitely feel like the day was captured through the pictures. Post Wedding: Jessica sent us a sneak peak 2 days after the wedding containing 23 pictures. They turned out great and were beautiful. You can see examples on her website so I won’t elaborate, but they really are that good. The full gallery was sent almost a month after the wedding (minus 2 days) with instructions on purchasing prints or an album attached. The full download contained 650ish files, including the sneak peek pictures. Half of which were black and white, so this matched up pretty perfectly with Jessica’s estimation of the amount of photos when we spoke in the pre-planning stage.

From her high school darkroom days, to full time wedding and family photography, Kelsie leaned into her passion of capturing couples’ stories as they unfold. As a student of the Art Institute of Boston and Maine Photographic Workshops, art has always been an outlet for Kelsie. In addition, her Culinary Arts and Hospitality degree and extensive experience in catering and event management, gives her an advantageous eye for the details. It's important to me that each of my clients want to share my vision for the art I will be creating for them. I'm a wedding & lifestyle photographer who loves fashion, music, coffee, and dancing. I'm astrong determined women trying to make a living at her passion and conquer a few dreams here and there.

Okay let's start with the obvious, I'm biased. It's true, I'm her husband and for my own personal benefit, I wouldn't tell you to choose someone else. But that's actually not why I think Nelly is a great option for you. Since 2009, I've watched Nelly grow as a photographer, business owner, and creative. From the countless hours of training under some of the best photographers in the world (not exaggerating) to the hundreds of weddings and boudoir sessions she has photographed, I've been there to witness the often jaw-dropping work she creates. But you know what stands out almost more than the images, it's the feedback from clients. The comments about how she held their hand on the wedding day and basically became their right-hand woman. The literal tears of joy when they see the images. The stories of empowered women felt being photographed by Nelly during a boudoir session. Those things are what I believe sets her apart and why you shouldn't think twice when researching who your best option is. So in summary, you have lots of options. You should absolutely do your research. BUT you shouldn't make a final decision without at least considering Nelly for your wedding or boudoir photography. Okay, that's all I have.... Nelly, did I do well? :)

I learned photography 10+ years ago in the darkroom at my high school. From there, I was hooked. Fast-forward to being fresh out of college, in a new city, and needing new friends. I found an amazing group who also loved photography. We traveled abroad and across the country together, sharing our travel photos all over Instagram (which, had just become all the hype). That was all it took for my first couple to ask me to photograph their wedding. I'm now a full-time hybrid wedding photographer!

The best decision David and I made during our wedding planning was hiring Halie for our wedding photography. She is so amazing at what she does and so organized with it! Which is something we have in common, I am super Type-A so the relationship I built with Halie was top tier and it made the whole planning process/wedding day a breeze. For David and I, our Rhode Island wedding was a destination as we are from Maryland so this made things a bit more complex with scheduling and understanding the area. When planning our engagement shoot, Halie made perfect suggestions for different locations to satisfy the different vibes I wanted in our pictures. During the shoot, she put us at ease and helped pose us in different ways to get the perfect shot. She also captured family photos for my family and I while we were all in Rhode Island for wedding planning activities. This helped us have an even closer bond with Halie and she got to see some of the family dynamics. All of the photos were absolutely beautiful!!! Between our engagement shoot and our wedding, Halie stayed in constant communication with me and gave me so many good tips/suggestions/ideas throughout the process. She made us a custom photo timeline for the whole wedding day. This was so helpful and we used her photo timeline as our baseline when engaging with all of our other vendors to ensure they were all on the same schedule. Halie captured pictures of our rehearsal dinner and intimate private sailboat ride with our inner circle. It was so fun to have her there to capture all of our New England details that we had spent so much time planning. Once again, she nailed it and got so many great pictures of us and our families! If you are considering adding rehearsal coverage, this is your sign to do it!!! Now for the wedding day, she truly outdid herself! She came fully prepared to dive into all of the shots and was reassuring me when I realized we were running slightly behind schedule. She was like my director that day and I had complete trust in her for all of it. She remained calm, poised, professional throughout all of the wedding day chaos. All of our wedding party was so impressed by Halie's well thought out photography. When we received our sneak peeks, we were just in utter shock!! They were stunning and exactly what we were hoping for. Halie’s photography style is the perfect blend of romantic and timeless. David and I are forever grateful for the memories that Halie and her team captured on our wedding day. We truly cannot recommend Halie enough! She is amazing!

I'm Megan, a fine art wedding photographer serving New England & the Pacific Northwest. I've been photographing weddings since 2015, and I still tear up during just about every wedding ceremony. When I'm not behind the camera, I'm running after my one year old daughter, renovating our 1932 colonial home, and adding to my continually growing collection of cookbooks.

Megan is one of the kindest, nicest, most wonderful humans, on top of being a truly fantastic photographer. From the first call to discuss her style and how the process would go, we could tell she was different. She was so easy to work with! She made everything feel so natural and put both me and my now-husband at ease. She was considerate and creative both during our engagement shoot and our actual wedding day, offering suggestions and taking advantage of the beautiful scenery, golden hour, and spontaneous moments to truly capture our day. She treated us and our party with tenderness and grace, and brought an incredible calm to a very busy day. Her photos are also absolutely gorgeous! Looking at them, I honestly can’t believe they’re real! She elevated what she saw and captured our day, distilling the emotions and experience, and produced photos that are a perfect encapsulation of our day: full of pure joy, love, and light. I am so glad we worked with Megan - we will treasure the moments she captured forever. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

Meeting around 10 years ago and instantly becoming best friends, Jason and Nichole have now been married for 5 beautiful years. They share two children and when they aren't creating amazing wedding day memories for their clients they are out exploring. You can find them skiing, hiking, camping, and even traveling the country in their van when time permits!

Nichole and Jason have been nothing but professional throughout our booking process, engagement photos, and wedding weekend. All of the photos we've received so far we have been absolutely blown away with how good they are. They were great communicating to make sure our needs were met. We felt so comfortable with them and see them not only as our wedding photographer and videographer but someone my husband and I could be friends with. They were really great making sure our Indian fusion wedding was beautifully captured. I can't wait to see all of the photos but the sneak peaks were so good. They also asked questions about the ceremonies that we had to ensure they knew how best to document as well as wanting to sincerely learn more about the culture. You will not regret hiring these two. I would hire them both again in a heartbeat! This husband/wife team creates magic!
