Lakeside Occasions is a family-owned wedding barn in the heart of northern Indiana's Amish country. Our historic dairy barn was built in the late 1880's and has been in the family ever since! We call it "The Guernsey" in reference to the type of cows that were milked there. The barn is nestled between picturesque farmland on a peaceful lake in a small village known as Emma.

Twin Gables is a new barn-style wedding and event center located in Southwest Michigan. It is a large wedding venue able to host large events. win Gables Event Center is easy to get to and well-connected to the surrounding areas. Upon arrival, your guests will surely be endeared by the venue’s scenic setting. They will be treated to a panorama of picturesque farmland, a beautiful backdrop for an open-air ceremony. We have a beautiful new pergola that is very grand for ceremonies. After your ceremony, you can head into the barn to enjoy your after-party. Combining classic and contemporary stylistic details, this versatile barn is a wonderful place to wine, dine, and dance the night away. The Hopewell Barn is located about 1/2 mile south of the historic Hopewell Church. Built in 1872 and purchased by Deb in 2018, the church is listed on National Historic Register for its ties to Gene Stratton Porter. Gene was a famous author in the early 1900’s and the area of ‘Hopewell’ was used as the locale for the settings for several of her books. The name ‘Rustic Barn at Hopewell’ was selected to pay tribute to historic roots of the Hopewell area.
