We loved having our wedding at The Metroplex Expo Center. The venue offers a huge, open space which allowed us flexibility in designing the layout and decor exactly how we envisioned for our special day. Throughout the planning process, the venue coordinator was very responsive via email and phone, answering all of our questions promptly. On the wedding day, the staff worked seamlessly with our other vendors like the caterer, florist, and DJ to ensure everything flowed smoothly. The team was organized and attentive to details. The timber frame barn was built in 1905. It is 3,300 square feet and can comfortably seats 200 guests, with plenty of room for dinner and dancing. In 2012-2013, it was renovated to restore its original structure. Wagon wheel chandeliers and a unique bar constructed from French wine barrels and the original barn doors were added. The surrounding farmland offers stunning views and sunsets. We have tables, chairs, white china, flatware, ivory or white linen tablecloths and white napkins, burlap runners, mason jars or water glasses, bridal dressing room, and much more. Faraone Brothers Catering offers wonderful food and service. Alcohol is permitted, with use of certified bartenders and licensed security personnel. The barn is a short drive from multiple hotels and B&B's and it has easy access from I-80, I-79, and PA 376. Pittsburgh is less than an hour away.

I've had both personal and business experience with this hotel. It's easily accessible right from the interstate, clean, staff is extremely friendly and overly accommodating in a great way. They are extra pet friendly as a bonus! If you're going to be staying in the Weirton/Steubenville area, I highly recommend staying at this hotel!

We got married at Sewickley Quarter on 9/16/23. It was the absolute most perfect day and I would highly recommend getting married there! Hannah is an amazing asset to the venue - she was so helpful throughout the whole planning process. She went to in person vendor meetings with me, gave recommendations on which vendors to book, helped me decide on food and decor choices when I couldn't decide on my own, and called the vendors to ensure proper timelines. I truly would have been lost without her and her team. We initially chose the venue when it was brand new and they have only continued to make more and more beautiful since then. Each space is decorated so beautifully and makes for the perfect background for all of your photos. I loved that we didnt have to rent plates/silverwear/glassware unlike other venues and that the tent was included in the price. The main ceremony/reception area felt like the perfect size - we were close to all of our guests and be together with everyone, but not too crowded. We also loved that it was nestled in the beautiful town of Sewickley which is such a cute destination for out of town guests. The food was fantastic. Our guests loved all of their food - from appetizers to the salad to the main course. They allow you to choose your own custom cocktails on tap which is such a fun and unique detail. The drinks taste and look absolutely amazing. The staff was polite and accommodating. They were very accommodating to dietary restrictions as well. All of my vendors raved about how easy it was to work with Hannah and how organized setup was on the wedding day. SQ also works with Day Of for wedding day coordination and our coordinator Katie was a so sweet and helpful and made the whole day go by smoothly. My husband and I felt so special and loved - truly they made us feel like celebrities. Overall, it was the best day of our lives thanks to Sewickley Quarter, all of their staff, and all of our amazing vendors. We cannot thank them enough.

Even four months after our wedding, I miss every second of that day and would relive it 100 times over. Fun, Energy, Great Vibes! 5.0 Stars: A Truly Amazing Venue! BOOK IT!! Heartland is a wonderful location for a wedding. The barn was beautifully decorated (not to mention the amount of other decorations they already had on-site was a great way to save money), and the rolling hills made a stunning backdrop for our ceremony and pictures (especially the photo-bombing alpacas). They were so incredibly kind and wonderful to work with throughout the process. They made time to answer all of our questions and were incredibly accommodating by allowing us to take tours and re-visit as we started planning for our wedding. One of the biggest perks was having the venue for the entire weekend, which made setting up and enjoying our day that much easier. Everyone we've spoken to after the wedding have continued to say how beautiful the venue was and how it made for the absolute perfect wedding. I highly recommend Heartland to any bride looking for a beautiful wedding that's truly one-of-a-kind!

Meagan, the venue owner, was so helpful and kind throughout the whole wedding planning process. She was always available when I had questions or just needed recommendations. If you're getting married here and are thinking about hiring Meagan as your day of coordinator (additional cost) do not hesitate. Tropical Paradise in Geauga County! I kept telling my husband when we were looking into venues, "I want somewhere close to the water that's peaceful and I want it to feel like paradise, but I want to get married not too far from home". Most of our family is from the area, so we wanted somewhere that we didn't have to travel super far either. I had been looking for DAYS and everything was either way too far, way too expensive, ehhh, or just not at all what I was thinking. My husband hopped on Google, and said "Hey, how about this place called Shangri-La?" I looked at the pictures and I was like "Where is this place?!" He said "5 minutes from us". I could NOT believe it! It was GORGEOUS! The pictures are amazing but don't do it justice. I immediately reached out to Pam and Rod who own Shangri-La with interest. They said we could come and look at it that day if we wanted! My husband and I went and fell in LOVE! So so beautiful, and they have clearly spared no expense on making it so elegant, beautiful, convenient, affordable, and just magical. They were so amazing to work with. I knew when we parked and walked down the walkway even only seeing a small area of the location that was it. That was the place we were meant to be married at. Pam and Rod were so unbelievably amazing to work with. So caring, so organized, so attentive. They even offered us to set off fireworks at the end of our wedding (we got married on the 4th of July). It was truly the best day of our lives. I didn't worry about a thing, everything went smoothly, and they were just so great to work with! I will absolutely be returning to Shangri-La in the future as they can accommodate you for any kind of gathering you have in mind! They even went the extra mile; I was in a very bad car accident about 2 weeks after my husband and I got back from our honeymoon. I was in the hospital for a days and had broken my neck and had surgery on my knee that left me re-teaching myself to walk. Somehow, Pam and Rod had found out that I was in a car accident, and they stopped over at our house with the sweetest care package and card. It truly made me cry. They are such sweet and wonderful people. And we had such an amazing visit. Pam and Rod are just such unbelievably genuine people. You just feel like you're "home" when you're at Shangri-La. I cannot say enough about Shangri-La and Pam and Rod <3

I would highly recommend the Willow for any and all events. We had our wedding there September of 2019. From the beginning Francesca went above and beyond to always keep us informed and to help make our vision come true. As a stressed bride she helped keep me on track with what needed done and was my peace of mind that everything was going to be great. The day of the rehearsal dinner and wedding her and the whole staff were phenomenal, always friendly and checking in with my husband and I and made sure that everything ran smoothly. The food was absolutely amazing, a year later we still have people praising how great the food was! Choosing the Willow was the best thing we did and we will be forever grateful to them!

Freedom Farms is such a joy to work with for so many reasons! I personally love the attention to detail that Keating puts in even BEFORE the wedding day occurs. This is one of the few venues that checks in with vendors to ensure they have everything they need leading up to an event - It really shows how much they are truly invested in the overall outcome of the day. What an amazing venue. Beautiful place for an Ohio Wedding. I truly hope we are invited to another function here. Every aspect of this place is simply beautiful. The food was amazing, service even better but nothing beats the ambiance of the place. Manager Bibi was the best at organizing everything.

I got married at Rivercrest Farm in August and I cannot recommend it enough!! The beautiful barn and scenery, the people who work there, the animals - its all perfect! From my very first visit to the farm in June 2023 I have been wow'ed by how terrific the team is! Alex, Deanna and everyone they have working for them are SO kind, helpful, creative and just truly incredible. Once seeing the beautiful venue and meeting Alex/Deanna I quickly changed my ideal date so that I could get married at this spot and have their help with planning. They make it so easy with their planning guide including every vendor suggestion you could ever need and their decor closet is a life saver! Alex held a planning meeting with us where she walked us through every detail of the day and helped me remember small details I had missed so we avoided any issues day of. The day of the wedding I had a team of family/bridesmaids/groomsmen ready to help set up and they were not needed. Alex and her team handled everything for us and it made the day so stress free. Also - the cows and mini donkeys are a huge plus! The place is truly magical and I can't thank them enough for all they did for us.

My husband and I were married at Laplace in September 2020. It was perfect! They have bridal suites for getting ready and a few different options for ceremony and receptions depending on your style. I loved how easy everything was. We didn't have to worry about anything at all. The set up was done for us. The clean up was done for us. We were able to pick and choose colors, decor, lighting, etc. The food was amazing! It was hot and fresh which is different than other weddings I've attended. For a stress free wedding or any event, this is definitely the place to go!

If you are stuck between wanting a classic, old fashioned and a modern, sleek wedding, you can have BOTH at Sun Valley! The completely renovated inside mixed with the charming covered patio and pond outside creates the perfect blend; let's not forget that it sits on 25 acres of land in a very secluded area. This truly is a hidden gem! I never knew SV existed until my fiancé (now husband) and I decided to change our wedding venue TWO months before the big day (Covid-19 played a major role in that). I can honestly say that changing our venue was the best decision we made! Not only did Jennifer accommodate our wedding date but she worked with us up until the very day to make sure everything was just how we had envisioned it to be (we were also very fortunate to be the FIRST wedding under the ownership of Jennifer, Melissa and Scott)! When I walked into SV on my wedding day, I was blown away at how spot on every little detail was. Everything from the entrance table to the layout of the guest tables to the décor was exactly how I wanted it. I love that SV gave me access to their online seating chart so I could do my own layout and make changes up until a couple days before the wedding. Jennifer had very minimal questions for me the week of which is crucial because, as a bride, the week of the wedding is very overwhelming; the last thing you need to worry about is your setup at the venue. SV also provides a spacious bridal suite with a code generated lock where you and your bridal party can store all of your belongings throughout the night. Let's also not forget about the mirrors in the suite that light up at the touch of your finger; I wish I'd spent more time in there but, as everyone always says, the night flies by - and they are right! Another benefit of having your wedding at SV is that the grounds and pond make for beautiful photos! Some of my best photos were captured right next to the pond under a beautiful tree. While having photos taken, it was so refreshing to look over and see our guests fully enjoying cocktail hour that was setup outside with an open bar and delicious appetizers provided by Flour. If you are able to, splurge and rent some colorful linen from Event Source and hire an acoustic musician to play during cocktail hour. It really makes for a magical evening for your friends and family. I cannot tell you how many people commented on how SV was the most beautiful venue they'd ever been to. I couldn't agree more and I can't believe I almost didn't get married there! I really could not have pictured having my wedding anywhere else. If you are stuck between a few venues, do yourself a favor and just go with Sun Valley! Between Jennifer (wedding planner), Melissa (photographer) & Scott (DJ), you are working with three seasoned industry professionals who know how to put on a party! You will not regret your decision!

Silver lake country club was an amazing beautiful venue. Cocktail hour on the balcony with the sunset was magical. Our guests really enjoyed having the outdoor option available to them throughout the night. The food and service were top notch.
