I have been honored to be part of the Charlottesville and Central Virginia local food community since 1993, working as a chef, caterer, baker, barista, and farmer. Now I am using my experience and knowledge of our area, its venues, farms and resources to create one of a kind, delicious desserts. The Historic Pharsalia home is available for dressing and pre-ceremony traditions. You will also have access to an indoor bar area, the gorgeous cocktail courtyard and our pristine flower and herb gardens where your guests can mingle and take in the majestic mountain views. Hello! We’re Hunter & Sarah — high school sweethearts, ocean enthusiasts and professional wedding & portrait photographers. We’ve been married for more than two years, but have been together since the 11th grade. The only thing more important to us than making new friends and our weekly date night is our faith! Couples can host a gorgeous outside ceremony on the concrete patio, or opt for a covered pavilion ceremony. The pavilion is open on three sides to bring the beautiful scenery indoors, but the sides and barn-style doors can be closed in the event of inclement weather. Inside the pavilion, lighting is provided by lanterns and chandeliers, and a large hand-crafted fireplace takes spotlight, with rocks from the farm incorporated into its design. The outdoor patio is attached to the pavilion, creating an extra space that can be used for a ceremony, reception area, or dance floor. A second pavilion was completed in 2018 to provide reception space that is separate from the ceremony site, but within close proximity. This pavilion is completely enclosed and offers a gas fireplace as well as lanterns and chandeliers for lighting. As wedding guests arrive, wedding parties can use the bridal suite to get ready.

Ashley's training comes from working under a few of the finest chefs in Charlottesville, at some the best restaurants in area, such as The Clifton Inn and The Ivy Inn. She furthered her skills at the Cookery at the Grange in Somerset, England.
