I loved hearing the background story behind each polaroid, featuring beloved members of my family, some of which I never got the pleasure to meet. I was mesmerized by the fact that a single image could be so meaningful, so precious, and so nostalgic. As cliché as it is, it's absolutely true - a picture really is worth a thousand words. ​ It gives me much pride to capture authentic love stories for those who believe that the greatest of these is love. ​ -Shanté

Born and raised in Miami, Florida, I moved to South Carolina in 2014, and it was the best move I have ever made. The slower paced lifestyle is definitely my jam. I have a Pitbull named Sandy who loves to play and of course eat plenty of treats. I am a huge animal lover and volunteer often at a local animal shelter taking photos to help the pups get adopted. In my free time I am baking or doing anything DIY. I love to explore new places, but I especially love the beach!
