YOU'RE ENGAGED!! Congrats and thanks for stopping by! My name is Jordan Scott, the Owner and Photographer of Wax + Whale Co. Photography! I'm a mama bear to a little guy named Vander Nash! Wife to my best friend of 12 years strong! I love drinking all the coffee, and LOVE! I have been doing photography for several years now and I am absolutely and forever in love with being invited to capture and share those raw intimate moments. The ones most people overlook, whether it's the snuggles, giggles, dancing, or just enjoying each others company. My goal is to capture and display that love and happiness in it's most raw and authentic form!

    Jordan was in a word fantastic. Her moody beautiful style perfectly matched our fall-themed wedding. She and her second shooter listened to everything we had to say and captured everything important to us. She was also far along in her pregnancy (congrats again Jordan!) at the time and was so communicative and a trooper for us and our wedding. She also was able to get our photos out to us a little earlier than promised. I know that can never be guaranteed but we were so freaking excited when the link hit our inbox early! We immediately ordered several prints to hang in our home because we are so happy with them. All in all, super professional, personable, knowledgeable, and very committed to her passion. I would hire her ten times over and you won't regret it either.

    We LOVED having Jordan photograph our wedding! She was professional, communicative, and flexible when family didn't show up on time for family pics before the ceremony as planned. But above all the pictures are so beautiful! As two slightly awkward, kind of silly people, she made us feel comfortable during our couple's shoot and I think she really captured our personalities and relationship perfectly. I am so glad we went with her for our wedding!

    It’s always a great experience every time we work with Jordan! She did the photography for our engagement session, my bridal portraits, our wedding, and even a Christmas mini session of us and our dogs. She’s great about telling us what to do so that we get the best pictures possible, because I am not very good at knowing what to do when being photographed. On the day of the wedding, she had a clear timeline for us and made sure to keep things moving so we were able to get all of the shots that we wanted. We’ve always been so happy with the quality and style of the pictures and she always gets them back to us as quickly as possible. We can’t wait to work with her again!
