We are photographers for hire with a love for candid moments and a modern, fine art aesthetic. Evan is your point person and lead photographer. He has been shooting weddings, portraits, and brand work for over 6 years. Gabrielle’s background lies in visual arts and theatre, and comes well into play during creative decision making. Her attention to detail and eye for beauty is unmatched. We look forward to partnering with you to create and capture, whatever the story.

Wedding things we are very passionate about: - time for just the bride and groom to enjoy each other before the party starts - wedding timelines created for a laid back, intimate experience for you and your guests - we love documenting your wedding with multiple formats: 35mm film, polaroids, and digital photography all play an important part for our artistic process - weddings crafted to feel like their couples - we also love some of the annual wedding trends as well ;)

I cannot say enough about how amazing Evan and Gabrielle are! My husband and I decided against videography for the wedding, so when we had our initial meeting with Evan, we stressed how important it was that the photography capture every detail of our day—from big to small—so we could relive it. We also wanted a mix of film and digital photos that felt timeless and true to us and our specific style. And holy smokes did they deliver. The most important day of our lives was documented so perfectly in their photography. I look back at these images and can still remember every feeling and emotion of the day. Beyond the photos, they are a dream to work with. So fun and easy to be around while taking their role so seriously—they started as our photographers and left as friends. I would recommend these two a million times over.

Evan and Gabrielle are the most amazing photographers and ARTISTS! They are such a lovely couple we got to know during our engagement shoot months before our wedding. On the wedding day, they were the most calming presence. They captured our wedding day so beautifully, and they have the coolest style. I couldn't recommend them enough!

If you’re looking for a photography team that will be there for all of life’s most meaningful moments, look no further than Evan and Gabs at Evan Taylor Studio. These two are not only incredibly talented, but also some of the kindest, most thoughtful people you could ever meet. They’ve captured our engagement and wedding so beautifully, and we already know we’ll be turning to them for every milestone moving forward. Throughout the entire wedding planning process, they were consistently supportive—checking in regularly, making sure they fully understood what moments were most important to us, and truly advocating for us on the big day to ensure those memories were captured exactly as we envisioned. Our family and entire wedding party couldn’t stop raving about them. They brought such a fun, relaxed energy to the day, kept everything running smoothly and on schedule, and even added unique, personal touches—like bringing disposable cameras, which made for such a fun surprise! Not only did we receive stunning, high-quality photos, but we also got a beautiful mix of formats, including film, which added an extra layer of charm and nostalgia. We can’t say enough good things about Evan Taylor Studio. Working with Evan on our wedding day was nothing short of spectacular. From his quick responsiveness, to pre wedding planning and venue walkthroughs with him, to the way that he just made my new husband and I feel so comfortable on wedding day - we knew he had it and could trust him to capture this day so perfectly. We even had a small changeup of the backdrop of the venue that would affect some of the photos, but he so easily adapted. When we got our photos back, his photography demonstrates his experience with the camera. Our portraits were natural and light and FUN, the family pictures were simple and efficiently done, and the dancing/speech photos caught the emotion of the night perfectly. None of the photos felt posed or forced whatsoever, and Evan was willing to capture whatever shot you might request. I would 10/10 recommend anyone looking for a wedding photographer to speak with Evan if you're in the Carolinas.
