The Swann House building is a historic mansion originally built in 1883 and recently renovated in 2023, that boasts both a beautiful event space and a boutique hotel. The common space of the ground floor is perfect for hosting special events, and the Swann House also offers 8 beautiful, individually decorated guest rooms and plenty of gathering options (including a pool and outdoor terrace) for guests. The grand ambiance of Swann House is enhanced by spacious rooms with twelve foot ceilings, elaborate crown moldings, in-laid wood floors and crystal chandeliers. Our antique baby grand piano is available to create yet another layer of warmth and elegance to your event.

In 1970, we acquired the red brick Quaker House, Carriage House and garden at 2121 Decatur Place NW. Built in the 1920s and also on the National Register, these buildings today house a number of nonprofit organizations and small businesses as well as additional event spaces. With multiple interior spaces and gardens, we can accommodate events of various sizes and layouts, from 2 to 300. We host individuals, non-profit organizations, and for-profit entities. The Vienna Volunteer Fire Department rents out its meeting hall to individuals, local businesses, community groups and organizations. All proceeds from this rental are used to support the department's operations. The Community Hall is available for rent on most Mondays through Saturdays and is an excellent venue for Wedding Receptions, Children’s Birthday Parties, Anniversaries, or Business Conferences. (The hall is not available on Sundays due to our weekly Bingo Fundraiser.)
