Sylvanside Farm, established in 1744, evokes the ambiance of a small village in the European countryside. In 2018, the farm was purchased and restored to its former glory. Located in the town of Clifton, VA and bordering the Bull Run River, Paradise Springs is the closest winery to Washington DC and the first in Fairfax County. The property was originally part of a land grant from Lord Fairfax in 1716 to the Kincheloe family and has been passed down through generations since. The property features a 1700’s log cabin, which was renovated in 1955 by a protégé of Frank Lloyd Wright. Wine tastings, tours, and much more can be found at this intimate, family run, destination winery. There is a spacious open-air pavilion on the grounds, which serves as the perfect spot to host a wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, or other related celebration. The 1000-square-foot deck has plenty of room to mix and mingle, making it an amiable location for a party. Alternatively, there is a cozier, more intimate indoor-outdoor area, named Mulligans. Located in Fairfax County near Clifton, VA, Whitehall Farm offers 205+ acres of picturesque secluded woodlands filled with local wildlife, forested streams, and rolling pasture. Whitehall Farm has been in the Vazquez family for 60 years, and is currently run by Nadine Vazquez. Ms. Vazquez and her husband rebuilt Whitehall as a working educational farm, with the hope of permanently preserving it as an open space in an increasingly crowded Fairfax County. The barn will seat approximately 150 for a reception with dance floor. The barn has 2 private dressing suites, a caterer’s kitchen/prep area, and bar area. We will provide high quality chairs for indoor ceremony and tables and chairs for the reception.
