The first Common Man Restaurant opened in Ashland, NH in 1971. In the summer of ’72, we catered our first uncommon event. More than 50 years later, we offer 17 event venues in five locations across the state. We’ve catered to countless happy brides, local businesses, proud parents, raucous best men, bridesmaids, and delighted friends. We’ve planned perfect roasts, showers, BBQs, fundraisers, anniversaries, parties, dinners, and weddings. Our success is built on recognizing that your special event is just that, a special point in time. Our friendly, experienced catering team remains true to that understanding and is devoted to helping you realize exactly what you have in mind. We’ve renovated the event halls at The Common Man Inn & Spa in Plymouth and opened The Nest, a cozy event space at Common Man Ashland. We’re excited to host events at The Barn on the Pemi, our rustic event barn located in Plymouth, accommodating up to 300 guests with views of the mountains and Pemi river.

We only hold one venue per weekend. We are on 6 acres located in the Monadnock area of New Hampshire. We are a venue and lodging establishment. We have a large patio for venue use for rehearsal dinners etc. Lots of places for photos and fun and games.

Previously home to two textile mills, the restored venue offers a rustically elegant setting for any occasion and a cozy Inn next door! To-be-weds can host their special day in a number of event sites. The Sugar River Ballroom seats up to 150 people and boasts stunning views of the Sugar River through tall windows set into thick brick walls and exposed beams that are original to the historic mill building. The Woven Label Boardroom seats up to 45 people and features original brick walls, welcoming fireplace, and elegant floor to ceiling bookcases. The Sullivan Green offers a riverside overlook that can accommodate 30-60 guests for an outdoor dinner or up to 100 for a wedding ceremony. For your convenience we supply china, flatware, glassware, tables, chairs, and linens. The Greenwood Manor Inn is a gorgeous, 150 year old estate tucked away in the heart of Harrison in the Lakes Region. The venue sits on 25 acres of quiet, pristine land, just a few minutes walk to the beautiful Long Lake. Surrounded by nature, hiking trails, stunning gardens, and fresh air, our inn is the perfect setting for your special day. Complete with nine guest rooms, we can accommodate up to 22 guests to stay the night. We also offer bar service, ample parking for up to 250 guests, a full breakfast for Inn guests, as well as rehearsal dinner space under our covered porch with heating if necessary, post wedding brunches, welcome cocktail party space, an on site baker, use of our day of coordinator, in house massages, private yoga on the lawn for the morning of your big day, as well as our fire pit, various lawn games, and so much more!
