After a wonderful meeting with Matt’s wife and photographer, Marie, we were sold! Both Matt and Marie were available on our wedding day so we hired them both. They have a huge music selection and even provided music for the ceremony. DJ Matt was still able to get people moving on the dance floor at our outdoor wedding on a humid 90 degree day in July. Marie came early to photograph as we were getting ready and was determined to get all of the perfect shots throughout the day even with the period of rain we had. I would highly recommend!”

Nate had brought backup batteries for all his equipment and was able to keep the music and party going despite no electricity (an no air conditioning!) and the venue scrambling to order pizza to feed everyone. We were able to do introductions, first dances and speeches all thanks to his set up. He extended his set and kept the party going despite the crazy turn of events. “The Hook Club was by far the coolest musicians I was able to find in terms of having an NYC night out vibe, and not a typical "wedding" vibe. We had a bass and guitar duo for our cocktail hour. They were super nice and awesome musicians. It started raining an hour into our cocktails so we had to move inside, and the bassist switched to playing a piano so that we could continue the music inside. Everyone was so impressed by how multi-talented they were!! Loved them and wish we had them play music for more of our reception. Dan, the founder, as well as the rest of their staff were incredibly organized and attentive throughout the planning process. Highly recommend!!”

Rob took the time to text or set up whatever zoom calls we felt we needed. For the actual day, Rob was amazing. We had dinner service, reception, and "after party". Robs killed it with his flow between songs, and was incredibly accommodating and flexible if we had any requests in the moment, and was able to dodge or handle any "questionable" song requests that came his way. We knew that he always put my husband and I's wishes first. We also had multiple people comment on how good the DJ was during the reception, and after the fact! He also went above and beyond to pull heroics the day of to get some of our DIY spot lighting set up that wasn't set up the night prior. Rob was incredible to work with, and just as fun to chat with. Will miss working with them, but absolutely will be following their journeys and would use them again in a heartbeat! So thankful for Justin and Rob!”
