“I found Nicole kind of serendipitously on Instagram - she had commented on a post mentioning that she would love to shoot a wedding at our venue so I sent her a DM to inquire about her services. She was very attentive to answering all my questions and scheduling a call to discuss our wedding and her services. We found her pricing to be very competitive and edged out the other photographers we had been considering. We were excited her package included an engagement shoot and thought it was a good opportunity to build rapport and feel more comfortable having our photos taken before our wedding day. We live a few hours away from our venue and her location but she graciously offered to travel to us for our engagement shoot! We could tell she put a lot of effort into scouting out locations and making the most of our shoot, and she turned our photos around to us so quickly! It was just a few weeks before our wedding so it had us feeling excited and confident that our photos would turn out great. Our wedding day went very smoothly and Nicole was very organized and did a great job! She even came up to me during the wedding to let me know that we might want to reshoot some photos of my dad lifting my veil. I thought that was so considerate! Just like our engagement shoot, I could tell the time and effort she put into scouting out locations and getting all the photos we had asked for. There were a few photos on my shot list that we did not get to do, which obviously we had hoped to have, but I understand my wedding was a very short timeline. We were blown away by the sneak peeks we received just 24 hours after our wedding! And Nicole managed to turn our entire gallery around to us in just 3 weeks. We had friends who got married 6 weeks before us and they were still waiting on their gallery! The gallery is easy to share with friends and family, easy to download and well organized! We really appreciate Nicole for capturing our day so beautifully and giving us photos that we can look back on and love forever! “I’ve heard of Aladdin Films from my friend, who 2 months before the wedding couldn’t stop talking about their team and a wedding video her sister got from Aladdin Films. Of course, after such a review from my best friend, I had to consider Aladdin Films for my wedding day. But once I got on their website, their hyper-creative, beautifully done videos and fantastic photos didn’t leave me any choice other than contact them. And after talking to Iman about their services, he left me no choice other than hire them. His enthusiasm and creative approach to work was spectacular. But still, I was a little bit skeptical till the day of my wedding. But as soon as I met them in person, I was 100% sure that they will create a masterpiece. Words cannot describe how hardworking their team is. They came half an hour before the wedding to observe the place and create a plan on what, where, and when they will be doing certain things. Their service was on another level, but everything comes down to one thing. The result. It didn’t take them long to edit everything, and when we sat with the whole family on our couch to see the result. Everybody was in complete delight. We couldn’t stop laughing, crying, and wondering how they could take such a good shot. It seemed that they had not 3 but 10 cameras. Top-notch editing, perfect angles, and great sound design are just some of the characteristics of that video. And pictures can be displayed in the Louver. Their artistic retouching photos were so good, that we are going to print them on huge canvases and put them all on the walls of our house. We immediately send them out to all of our relatives and hurried them up to hire them ASAP because as they said, they often get booked up. “Heather was wonderful to work with! We are the awkward type in front of a camera, but working with Heather made everything seem so stress-free during our wedding planning and photo sessions. Our engagement photo session was fun and care-free and we unbeknownst to all of us, she actually ended up taking beautiful photos of our beautiful rabbit, Trixie before she passed on the following month. Something that we truly appreciated and will never forget. For our wedding, Heather was very detailed and gave us a run down of what to expect for the photos. Nothing was hidden and she was up front about it all and asked if we wanted to add anything as well. Although Mother Nature had other plans for the day, we were still able to get the majority of our photos done. She even snuck in polaroid photos that were just too adorable - And I have no idea when she even took them! We received our wedding photos back and everyone absolutely loves them. I just love her style. While there are some photographers who do a large amount of filter/presets (no shade to those who do), there's just something about Heather's style of being able to keep it clean and natural that I just love! With Mother Nature having other plans with making it a misty ceremony and a downpour reception, we did miss out on doing a handful of photos of cocktail hour. Because of that, Heather was quick to offer us a bridal session to take some additional photos to complete our wedding. Instead of returning to the venue, we actually decided to relocate to Fort Bragg and take photos at the Mendocino Garden. The photos turned out absolutely gorgeous with the oceanic background and the dahlias that she chose to work with. She made everything seem so light-hearted and there was so much laughter with each session. Thank you Heather for everything you did throughout our wedding planning and so much more.
