We are a nonprofit multipurpose sports and activities center in Downtown Los Angeles. Our mission is to provide a facility for youth, families and seniors that offers sports, community activities, and opportunities to connect visitors to Japanese American culture and a vibrant, sustainable Little Tokyo. We have 5 main rental spaces (Plaza & Stage, Terrace, Community Room, Courtyard, and Gym) and an underground parking lot. Plaza & Stage: The perfect setting for weddings, concerts, and events of all kinds. Strands of bistro lighting are draped above while lush vegetation, trees, and shrubs surround the plaza. Terrace: The outdoor terrace wraps provides views of Los Angeles St and the Plaza & Stage below. Green space adorns the terrace, which also features a children's playground, community garden, and mural. Community Room: This multi-purpose room accommodates classes, meetings, and more. Originally built in the 1920’s in an area that has long served as the city’s seafood market east of Downtown, the building has lived many lives in its century of use; it’s been a hotel, a brothel, a fish and oyster company, and a commercial site for everything from glass blowing to marijuana cultivation. This mysterious history subtly informed our re-invention of the space.

We are a Top floor penthouse in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles. The perfect space for gatherings or to celebrate a special event. There is no other space like this. We have packages for you to be able to customize the ceiling to a theme of your choice. We can split the space into two sections or you can buy the full space out. We have 6 restrooms total onsite as well as 2 prep kitchen areas and a spacious balcony. Minimum hourly depends on day of the week or type of event. We run our space in time slots not hourly We require a security team to insure the event runs smoothly. This is a separate cost and depends on the capacity. We charge a $2500 refundable security deposit via email invoice. This amount is returned within 4-5 business days of the event once everything checks out.

It now boasts a flowing 7,000 square foot floor plan (4,500 sq ft interior + 2,500 sq ft garden courtyard) melding both interior and exterior areas. Millwick is an excellent event venue and wedding site for up to 175 people for ceremonies and receptions. Located in downtown Los Angeles in the heart of the Arts District, Millwick is convenient to many of the best new and historic hotels, restaurants and nightlife the city has to offer.
