Nestled on 60 acres of rolling hills, Board & Batten is a wedding and event venue near High Rock Lake, NC. We were recently named one of the top 40 barn wedding venues in the country by Country Living Magazine! Board & Batten was designed to make sure every inch of our property is perfect for your wedding day. We have separate spaces for the couple to get ready, room for over 200 guests, a huge covered porch, and an amazing back patio that features a fireplace and a bocce ball court. Our space brings the elements of a southern barn and industrial space together perfectly. There is no place around like Board & Batten.

The venue can seat around 200 guests comfortably. The main space is a dream with beautiful white shiplap walls, gorgeous stained plank cathedral ceiling and lots of natural light. The main space is heated and cooled so you can be comfortable in any season. There is a covered porch that leads to a large flagstone patio with a white fireplace, this is a great space for rehearsal dinners or just an extension of the reception space. The bridal suite is in a separate building adjacent to the venue. Recently built in 2023, with nearly 800 sq feet you and your wedding party will have a comfortable space to enjoy the day. Finally, there is an open air chapel that can seat 200 guests comfortably. It has beautiful cathedral style windows in the front and back of the chapel and open arches on the sides. This chapel will make a great rain back up option for your wedding day or if you love it as much as we do, it can be a beautiful plan A option as well.

Adaumont Farm is a venue welcoming weddings in Trinity, North Carolina. Set amongst acres of pastureland, it invites couples to celebrate in upscale country style. With a choice of breathtaking outdoor sites and a welcoming barn space, couples will be charmed by the venue’s style and adaptability. Throughout the vibrant green fields of Adaumont Farm horses and Black Angus Cows still roam freely, giving the property a distinctive upscale and pastoral feel. Initially, the 62-acre Het Landhuis Estate was part of a 1,000-acre farm owned by the Henderson family who operated a tanyard in the area, making saddles and other leather items.
