Our secluded lodge is the perfect place to unplug and enjoy nature's escape. Our lodge does have solar power and wifi 24/7. Attean Lake Lodge boasts many activities, and entertainment to provide a fun, stress-free venue where you can unplug and relax! 4th Generation owners, Barrett and Josie Holden strive to keep the lodge all that it is- a family getaway where you can disconnect to reconnect.

Attean Lake Lodge was the perfect venue for our wedding! Josie was always responsive, reasonable and kind throughout the entire planning process. The venue itself is a gorgeous, magical private oasis with spectacular views, charm and ambiance - all at an amazing price. Josie was super flexible and really allowed us to execute our day however we wanted, from hand picking the menu to assisting all of our guests with their bags and even making extra late night trips to pick up late arrivals. The entire staff at Attean were a complete joy to work with. Our wedding day was an absolute dream come true! The cabins are comfortable with stunning views, the food was out of this world, and we felt so welcome and comfortable as a queer couple. We wouldn't change a thing about our experience at Attean Lake Lodge.

Hardy Farm c.1750

5.0

Fryeburg, ME
  • Up to 180 guests
  • Select services
  • Indoor & outdoor

Established in 1750 as an English land grant in the picturesque White Mountains of Maine (then the “Massachusetts Bay Colony”), Hardy Farm remained in the same family for ten generations prior to being purchased by Greg and Deborah Link in 2001. After a The Links transformed Hardy Farm into a very special and unique “rustic elegant” venue for weddings and events offering an authentically historic feel, with a distinctly unique ambiance of contemporary yet rustic elegance featuring all of today's modern amenities. Hardy Farm accommodates up to 32 people overnight and the property encompasses 13 acres with beautiful gardens and stone patios, fire pit, the farmhouse, barn, lodge, woodland chapel, and their own 103’ sailcloth tent. Guests at Hardy Farm enjoy the beautiful rural New England setting with convenient proximity to North Conway, NH, and the Mt. Washington Valley, offering a myriad of year-round outdoor activities.

We could not be happier with this venue. It was charming, cozy, and all our guests fell in love with it. The owners were amazing to work with and made us feel comfortable and warm and were attentive to every need and question. There is not a single thing more we could have asked for. And not to mention- it is stunning and magical.

AMC Medawisla Lodge & Cabins

5.0

Greenville, ME
  • Up to 68 guests
  • Select services
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $4,000

Medawisla Lodge is nestled within the heart of Maine’s 100-Mile Wilderness, set in a pristine area preserved by the Appalachian Mountain Club (AMC). As one of AMC’s most remote lodges, Medawisla offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, dense forests, and the tranquil shores of Second Roach Pond. Located just 30 miles from Greenville, ME, and a few hours from Bangor, Medawisla is the perfect retreat for couples seeking a secluded, wilderness setting to celebrate their love. With access to miles of hiking trails, canoeing, and opportunities to spot wildlife, Medawisla Lodge offers an unforgettable experience for your special day. AMC is a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting the mountains, forests, waters, and trails of the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions.

We had our wedding at AMC Medawisla in September 2023 and would highly recommend the venue after touring countless others in Maine! John, Charlene and the rest of the AMC staff allowed us to highly customize the weekend by cooking some of our favorite foods, adding additional signage so that our guests wouldn't get lost, and overall making the weekend as smooth as possible. Our guests enjoyed the star gazing! We appreciated that all our guests could stay onsite and some of cabins included bathrooms and showers for those that wanted a less rustic experience. We were nervous about black flies but ultimately it wasn't an issue at all even at dusk. Even though we had gorgeous weather, the dinning room in the Lodge is a fantastic back up rain option.
