On the big day, they were on-site ensuring things ran smoothly so my husband and I could relax and enjoy our special moments. Their personal touches, from the gorgeous floral arrangements to helping bustle my dress, made us feel cared for. With its picture-perfect backdrop for our ceremony and reception along with the owners' constant support, Farm 1750 was the perfect intimate venue for our wedding. We're so grateful to have found this gem of a place and highly recommend them to other couples seeking a private, charming setting with attentive owners for their special day.

Hemlock Farm is an incredible place, and the owner, Jennifer, is absolutely amazing to work with. Our experience with Hemlock Farm was everything we wanted for our wedding weekend - including that we could stay there if we wanted to both Friday and Saturday nights. She had suggestions for other wonderful vendors to work with, to simply being a beautiful location. The Bridal Suite in the air-conditioned Barn was such a highlight to have our hair and make up done Saturday am. A plus was being so close to all major shopping areas for any last minute items needed. So glad we found Hemlock Farm!

The Parlor features high ceilings, an outfitted bar, a catering kitchen, elevators, and floor-to-ceiling windows with two access points to the Terrace. Just off the Parlor is the George Washington room, which has a full wall of windows that opens onto the patio, creating a seamless indoor/outdoor feel. This room can be used for a seated indoor ceremony, reception, and/or dancing, and is outfitted with state-of-the-art AV equipment.

Above ALX Community was the PERFECT wedding venue! The indoor/outdoor rooftop space offered breathtaking 360 views of the Potomac and Old Town Alexandria, creating a beautiful and unique setting. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about the amazing atmosphere and scenic backdrop. Christopher, our venue coordinator, was exceptional. He went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, from setup to last-minute adjustments, and made us feel completely at ease. His attention to detail and dedication truly made our day stress-free and memorable. If you’re looking for a stunning venue with top-notch service, we highly recommend Above ALX Community and Christopher!

Elegance Estates was the perfect venue for our April wedding. We got married in a church and had the reception at Elegance Estates, and it was absolutely beautiful. I am a very minimalistic girl, so I did not provide the venue coordinator (Brittany—she’s amazing) with very much decor or direction and she still somehow made everything look perfect. Their catering team is awesome and the food was delicious. The set up provides lots of space for guests to move and mingle, and we had a blast dancing in the ballroom. Would highly recommend! They made wedding planning so easy.

When hosting at the Mellon, you will need to work with one of our approved vendors to supply all of your event needs (catering, rentals, décor, valet, ect.).

An elegant setting with the capability of hosting various sizes and style of events. The openness of the space allows great flexibility for set -up and the lobby, third floor terrace and green rooms offer great options for Pre-function Cocktails, VIP meet and greets and speaking holding areas. Unusual for Washington the space is available at any time and any day which allows for great flexibility for set up and actual event time. The Mellon is nicely situated -Located near many of DC"s attractions and hotels and access is easy from all DC areas as well as Suburban Virginia and Maryland.

We picked Clyde’s because the location was close to my church, where we did the ceremony, and because it was one of the few venues in that radius that fit our budget. I picked Clyde’s for practical reasons and looking back I couldn’t have made a better choice. I always knew I wanted my wedding reception to be fun and relaxed and have plenty of good food and drinks for my guests. Clyde’s so fit the bill. First, the food is simple yet delicious. We already knew that from dining there, and the tasting confirmed it. We were able to make menu choices to please everyone. Second, our room was beautiful and uniquely decorated and that makes a fun atmosphere. It was large enough to fit all our guests and have room to dance (we had about 50 people, but could have fit more in the room.) finally, the service was exceptional - all our guests commented on how great the servers and bartenders were at their jobs. We felt so welcome. The event staff went above and beyond to work with me to decorate and set tables to my specifications. If you are considering Clyde’s, I highly recommend them. DC wedding venues are expensive and Clyde’s was one of the few places we could afford, but even if our budget was higher, I couldn’t imagine a better experience.
