“Brian is one of the best wedding DJs in the business. In the past two years I’ve been to eight different weddings. Brian was the DJ for three of the eight, and the party/reception component of the events was never more fun than when Brian was driving the bus. He is an east coast DJ, but he spun tracks at both of my sister-in-laws’ weddings and as we were searching for a DJ for our own wedding we reached out just to see what he would charge for a wedding in Chicago. Turns out the price was right. Brian traveled to Chicago, MC’d our entire wedding, brought all of the equipment necessary and made our day exceptional in every way. I think there are a few things that really set Brian apart from other wedding DJs. Anyone can stand there and run through a playlist, but Brian went off book a few times to match and capture the energy of the guests. As we were in the midst of the planning process he added zero stress, and just calmly walked us through the process of selecting songs. He had suggestions and recommendations along the way. He even brought an extra speaker so that we could plug our digital piano in and the pianist would be able to play loudly enough. Overall, we can’t recommend Brian highly enough. We requested a Taylor Swift mashup and he exceeded expectations and made it the highlight of our night. The dance floor was always packed, and Arthur did a great job of taking into account our requests while playing music everyone would enjoy. We opted to use uplighting as well, which looked beautiful during dinner (we chose a warm lighting) and was so fun for the dance floor with flashing lights. “My husband and I recently got married September 2023 at Hotel Providence in Rhode Island. Planning a wedding was one of the hardest things I ever had to do in my life. Finding the perfect vendor for each part of your wedding is hard. I spent many many days privately messaging people and trying to see who fits what I need for this day. I came down to the DJ. I found Josh of D and J entertainment. I read all his positive reviews and decided to give him a call. He without hesitation answered all my questions and drove from Massachusetts to Rhode Island to meet with us. Josh hands down is one of the coolest people you can talk to. He is very honest but in a good way. He lets you know was popular with weddings now and helps you out his spin on it. Josh’ company has amazing pricing. They are able to accommodate all weddings. With so much you have to pay for on this day it’s nice paying someone and feeling like your money is actually going to be used well with him. They arrived hours before the ceremony to set up. The hotel loved the company too and how polite they were. Josh came prepared with all the music we requested to hear that day. From the minute we walked down the isle to when everyone left. Josh kept playing amazing music. All night I wasn’t let down once by the song choice. In some areas the venue messed up on a few things. Example the cake cutting and first dance. The hotel really didn’t nail timing so josh Took complete control of the wedding and saved it truly. He made sure my cake cutting and first dance were memorable because the hotel slipped with this. Nothing like a DJ who saves the day too. The best part of it all while DJing Josh found time to take so many photos. He wasn’t asked or required to do so. He took it upon himself to take more professional photos for us. That’s what I call above and beyond. Couldn’t believe he went that far out of his way for us. Thank You josh and all of d and J entertainment. You made the Soares wedding the biggest success. We will never forget you or your amazing spirit and drive to make others day unforgettable.”
