Let me tell you my story. I had a day that wasn’t really about the connection I had with my husband. It wasn’t about who we were as people and about the things we loved. It wasn’t “us”. “Let’s start off with the fact that the whole week we were in Alaska felt like a blur, because it was truly more awe-inspiring than anything we could’ve imagined, making it SO hard to go back to reality after this fantasy adventure that Sam helped us cook up. There were helicopters, tons of different sights, glaciers, and MOOSE! One thing we loved about working with Sam was that it never really felt like we took posed photos; there were prompts and directions, but it really was genuine, she captured us just being weirdly us. Jeff complained about getting his photos taken in the months leading up to our elopement, but the experience was way better than expected (he grew up despising cameras) and all of our photos are so full of life, taking us back to that exact time and place. Also, Sam suggested thinking about our day as an adventure first and a wedding second, and it really helped us realize the potential and plan a day that was way more badass and memorable than any traditional wedding! We certainly don’t feel like we missed out on anything by eloping; in fact, we feel the experience was more meaningful and intentional because we got to experience all of these new adventures together that were uniquely us. “So first off, the first things I asked her were; are you LGBT friendly, can you handle my anxiety, and can you photograph fat people?? Her answer was yes to all....and she exceeded my expectations. I do not talk much nor do I speak my mind ever, but I felt immediately comfortable with Taylor the second I saw her. Prior to that actually because we had texted a lot. She’s very hands-on. I booked her almost a year ago it feels like, but because of covid and other things out of our control we had to reschedule multiple times. Taylor was SO accommodating every single time. She never seemed bothered by us even though I guarantee she had to be. We are a hot mess! We changed the location multiple times, including TWO DAYS before the ceremony, I was late to my own elopement and on the way there my daughter spilled make up all over her clothes so we had to turn around for an outfit change!! Taylor was so kind and friendly. We told her in the beginning that mine and my wife’s height difference was an insecurity of ours and she made the angles work to where we didn’t look that far off at all. I’m telling you this, I have never been confident at all, I have never even liked the pictures other photographers have taken of me.....I cried when I saw Taylor’s pictures. I felt so beautiful and worthy of good photos!! I HIGHLY recommend her and will forever cherish everything she’s done. I was so uneasy about picking a photographer, it was so stressful because I’m from out of state and I knew nothing about Colorado or anything. I’m blessed to have found Taylor, she gave me everything I wanted and more!! Every single time I travel back to CO I will always have he take our photos!! “Maria is INCREDIBLE, and we are so glad we chose her for our wedding photos. 1. She is super professional and prompt, but is also just a really cool person who did SO MUCH to calm our nerves leading up to the wedding. 2. Her photos are gorgeous. She has such good attention to detail, lighting, editing, and you can really really tell in the finished product. 3. She just takes photos of you whenever she is around, and got tons of great candids. 4. We had gorgeous sneak peeks within like 48 hours of the wedding - it was truly insane turnaround but was amazing for us to get hype and very quickly see high-quality photos of the day. 5. The system she uses to deliver your photos is great - we got a lot of compliments on it from our friends and family! 6. She goes above and beyond to make sure you get what you need - we filled out a survey a few weeks out listing our priorities, existing schedule, who needed to be in family photos, etc, and she sent back a really nice photo schedule document. It was fantastic to front-load this work and get it out of the way, and it made the day go so smoothly! 7. Overall she just really incredibly & beautifully captured the joy of the day - the personalities of my partner and I, our friends and family, the vibe of the venue and the party, and the sweetness of the sweet moments. We got tons of photos we will cherish forever and are so so thankful she was the one to capture the day!”

“Our journey with Ann Marie started when we won (after the first winners didn’t need it after all) her engagement photo package at the Portland Venue Crawl. We were beyond grateful and excited to win such a valuable experience and quickly realized that Ann Marie was going to be so fun to work with. She helped us pick an amazing location that required some travel for her, and it was so much fun - we got sun, fog, rain, sunset, and even a rainbow! She was prepared for it all and made it such a fun adventure. We were really nervous and she helped us chill and get a bit more comfy in front of the camera. She delivered our sneak peaks the next day which were so fun to look through and was extremely prompt with getting us the rest of our gallery. Naturally, we hired Ann Marie for our wedding too and cannot imagine having anyone else! She was so helpful through the stressful wedding planning process, sending us vendor recommendations and always being available if we had questions or needed advice.
