128 South is located in historic downtown Wilmington, North Carolina on the banks of the Cape Fear River. We offer a unique venue and reception space for your event. 128 South is located in the historic VonKampen Building and features one of the last great examples of a Victorian façade including the original stained glass windows. Some features include exposed heart-of-pine beams, hardwood floors throughout, and enormous bay windows with views of South Front Street.

As you step through the original famous haint blue double doors, the venue welcomes you with an elegant all white interior. Newly painted white March 2024! Happily accommodating 200 guests, we have two dressing suites, a full kitchen, a dedicated ceremony room, plenty of bathrooms and air conditioning throughout. There is ample of parking for all of your guests and staff will be on site for the duration of your event. The English Country Barn offers several flexible space choices to make the wedding of your dreams come to life! A huge covered chapel seating up to 200 guests giving you even more choice for your ceremony. In addition we have a stunning outdoor fireplace, a beautiful fountain and hand crafted outdoor bar all on our adjacent patio, the perfect spot for cocktail hour. We also boast 3 houses onsite available for wedding party or out of town guests.

La Esperanza-Ranch is a family owned farm located in rural Delco, just thirty minutes from Wilmington, and a short drive from Leland, NC. The ranch boasts a beautiful and tranquil countryside setting. The family keeps horses in the stable, and has transformed a section of the ranch as a venue to host wedding receptions, birthday celebrations and other events.

Pave' is downtown Wilmington's newest event space. We are conveniently located on the ground floor on Water Street (near Chandler's Warf)...just steps away from the River Walk and the Cape Fear River. We book it out from 9-4 or 5-10pm. We are going GREEN and not meaning just adding plants (but yes, more plants the better). No more wasting water washing linen/dishes. Our plates/flatware/cups are biodegradable (we do offer an eclectic mix of real wine/champagne glasses). No more 6 foot banquet tables. This venue is meant for social gatherings. Pave' is cocktail style so lounge if you like on the couch, hop up on a bar stool or stand and mix/mingle. We offer all the rentals. There is only one bathroom at Pave' so that keeps our numbers comfortably in the 25-35 range. This is the vision for Pave'. We are dog friendly, so you can bring your furry family along with you too! Saint Thomas was the first Catholic church in Wilmington, built in 1847. Although no longer a church, this beautifully-restored venue in the heart of historic downtown Wilmington is listed on the National Historic Register.
