For ceremonies we play classical music and for cocktail hour we play jazz, but of course we will do whatever the Bride & Groom want! Named after a 1932 jazz standard, Street of Dreams Jazz Band from New York City is a vintage jazz and swing group with a lush, romantic sound. What am I doing when I'm not djing? I love reading and learning new things, hiking, cooking, playing video games, chilling, playing sports, spending time with family and so on. And I absolutely LOVE meeting new people and building new relationships. After all that's what this business is all about. Inspired by neo-soul greats like D’Angelo and Erykah Badu, Fake Tapes is all about the pleasure principle. Lead singer Kyla’s voice zig-zags assuredly above mischievous harmonic twists and sharp, understated grooves as she spins oblique stories of heartbreak and hope in New York City. Their debut, self-titled EP was released in December 2018 and is available on all major listening platforms. A&R Factory said Kyla “doesn’t hold much restraint when it comes to saying what’s on her mind… and that’s just one of the reasons why her approach is so refreshing.”

The Evergreen Jazz Band embodies the essence of vintage jazz especially in the style of Billie Holiday. They portray the American Songbook in an intimate and emotional fashion that will intrigue audiences. Kyla’s warm singing tone, sensitivity, and power balances beautifully with the boys swinging and be-bop playing nature, which always calls for a spectacular time where ever they play! The members of the band met in the Brooklyn jazz jam scene and have been playing with each other ever since. They are creative with their song arrangements and always bring something new that is their own to the classic standards we all love.
