La Esperanza-Ranch is a family owned farm located in rural Delco, just thirty minutes from Wilmington, and a short drive from Leland, NC. The family keeps horses in the stable, and has transformed a section of the ranch as a venue to host wedding receptions, birthday celebrations and other events.

The Lucas Farm was originally an 1875 tobacco farm. It has been transformed into a picturesque estate nestled in nearly 500 acres of longleaf pine stands. The farm features a refurbished farm house where the bride and bridal party get ready, a bar shed, caterers kitchen, climate controlled barn featuring the original wood inside, a new barn that can be used as the plan or rain backup plan, a lovely pecan orchard for outdoor ceremony and a refurbished schoolhouse for the groom and groomsmen to get ready. The venue can seat as many as 200 guests. The Lucas Farm has a serene and relaxed atmosphere.

The land that The Barn at Rock Creek is situated on was once the Dixie Evans farm owned and operated by the Henry family. It came to belong to the Ward family circa 1970 when Robert G. Ward, father of Mary Ward Padgett, bought the land and continued the tradition of farming soybeans and corn until 2012.
