“After friends shared a photo of my then fiance and me at their own wedding, we hired the photographer who took it. This was Nina! That one photo inspired us to review the gallery of their entire wedding and then her portfolio and we were blown away. 7 months later our own wedding day arrived. My husband and I are the type of people who are wildly present and constantly forget to take photographs of our life together. We knew we wanted to capture this day without the photography becoming a chore or hindering our ability to do what we do best and enjoy our time. I am also someone who likes control, especially when it came to planning my wedding. I hardly ever wear makeup and asked for a more natural look and it turned out perfect! I also have fine hair and was worried about having volume, but Rita was able to make my hair look thicker than it is. Both the hair and makeup lasted all night and still looked good after being done around 12pm. We had 6 people getting services and everything was done on time by Rita and her assistant, she provided a schedule so that I was able to let people know when they could arrive. “Ne'Kea and the Art of Beauty team were impeccable. I needed someone who could do both makeup and hair, and my wedding party had a spectrum of races, skin tones and hair types. This was not a problem at all for Ne'Kea and her team. Contacting her was easy and her responsiveness was prompt and professional. She worked with me to schedule my trial, which could have been a challenge because I live in New York and the wedding was in Baltimore. We ended up doing the trial near me in New Jersey and it couldn't have been more convenient. We had some last minute schedule changes with my bridal party on the day of the wedding and the team handled it easily. And my makeup and hair were exactly what I had envisioned.
