Mill Creek Falls Retreat LLC began as Camp Donegal. A church camp owned by the Donegal Presbytery. They sold it to Alex and Amy Kauffman who sold it to the Lancaster Conservancy who subdivided it, took the woodland and preserved it for future generations to enjoy and sold off 32 acres and the Campground to Ronnie & Kelly Miller who own it today. Built in 1918, the Carlisle Ribbon Mill was a functioning ribbon mill until 1987. The building sat mostly empty until the MCcarren family bought the property in 2003. They spent the next few years bringing it back to life and 2006 started restoration on what is now the Carlisle Ribbon Mill Banquet Facility.
