He was so responsive and answered all of my questions regarding hiring a DJ. He made us feel very confident in our decision to hire them as our DJ. As someone who was planning a wedding from out of state, his communication really set a positive tone and I appreciated it so much. The months leading up to the wedding, Ben checked in and had us fill out a survey to understand exactly what we were expecting for our day. We made a "must play" list as well as a "do not play" list. “Our wedding was unforgettable and exactly what we wanted and huge part of that is thanks to Joe. We wanted to throw a dance party for our wedding so we needed a DJ who could play the hits and keep people on the dance floor all night long. We also wanted to ensure that our musical tastes were reflected in the music selected. We wanted this gay wedding to have a gay dance party! That’s exactly what Joe did for us. During the planning process Joe was very hands on and collaborative. He helped us plan the evening and identify different moments we wanted to have. There were a few songs that we wanted to play and he ensured that he had them all for the night. He even made custom edits to a few songs for us like for our entrances or dances. The night of he was extremely attentive and got the party started immediately once the dance floor opened. People were dancing the whole night long. One moment that stood out was when he played a Portuguese song “Bate of Pé” which got everyone doing this Portuguese line dance. That was of course a requested song by us for the night, but then he transitioned out of it seamlessly into “Dança Kuduro” which was not a song we ever discussed but one I love to dance to that just worked perfectly right after. I was in shock at how perfect that was. Transitions were something we were really particular about and Joe nailed ALL OF THEM! His lighting also helped set the mood and vibe on the dance floor. It synced up perfectly to the music. During a really special moment of “Let It Go”, the lights were all set to blue which really elevated that whole song and experience. The videos we have with that blue lighting is truly magical. He recorded our ceremony and speeches so that we have clear audio of those special moments. These will be great keepsakes! Joe did an exceptional job, more than we could have ever asked for. He understood the assignment and delivered”

They dressed appropriately for our wedding theme and many of the guests at the Hawthorne Hotel wanted to take pictures with Karlea in her Twenties attire. In addition to being a wonderful experience, they were also a great value for the price. These are top quality musicians and we paid a reasonable price for the band. “Soundfire DJ did an exceptional job with our wedding on July 11, 2020 in Door County. The detail and hard work that was put into our ceremony and reception was really what put SFDJ above any other wedding DJ I have experienced. Shawn was excellent with talking to our guests and staying open to schedule changes throughout the night. He kept in contact with me throughout the entire wedding and was super fun and brought a great energy! Tyler’s music was amazing. I loved that he fused a bunch of songs that we requested together to make it more fun. He read the room and would play slow songs or fast songs at perfect times. Requests were always granted and they had an awesome selection of songs available. I loved that we were able to make playlists beforehand with their easy-to-use website. I also appreciated that we would get monthly emails with general wedding reminders of what is typically done that month during wedding planning. That was super helpful for myself who did not hire a wedding planner and had zero experience with planning events. SFDJ truly helped make our special day absolutely perfect, regardless of the COVID-19 pandemic. Since our wedding in 2020, we have been to several weddings of our friends and family that used SFDJ simply because of the experience they had at our wedding! I look forward to going to other events in the future with you guys!”

“My husband and I just had our wedding September 21, 2024 and we would book Tyson as our Dj a million times over again. From start to finish everything was wonderful. The very first email I sent to inquire about booking, he was extremely professional and responsive. I am very patient with matters like this but I don’t even think we waited longer than a day to hear back from Tyson. I was unsure of timeline with not much clue on how to put everything and he worked with me in minutes and helped put it all together! Everything was so simple to book, I gave him what I wanted and he made our dream a vision like a piece of cake. If his company comes across in your searches, look no further. The music was great, whether everyone knew the songs or not it got them on the dance floor. We love that they even handle the Photo Booth with a custom made neon sign and we didn’t have to book these things separately! Huge help! His fiancé does the Photo Booth and she is the sweetest thing on earth, our guests were even pulling her on the dance floor. “We cannot express enough praise and gratitude for Mitch! We had the privilege of working with him for our wedding on 7/6/24. From preplanning meetings to the wedding day, Mitch was extremely on top of everything to ensure our wedding day ran smoothly. He also communicated with our other vendors on the day of the wedding to ensure everyone was on the same page! When we had our live acoustic guitarist back out somewhat suddenly, we reached out to Mitch for references. To our surprise, he offered us an even better idea to have him play sax and a friend play guitar at the ceremony. All of our guests absolutely loved it and it brought a really special feel to the ceremony. On top of that, the energy he brings to MCing got our guests super excited and involved! Part of our package included having Mitch play Sax at the reception… JUST DO IT! It was so fun having him jump on the dance floor and interact with our guests!
