KJ Entertainment
Kenny Williams, also known as DJ KJ, has practiced mixing music for over 2 years now and enjoys playing all types of music and making sures everybody is having a good time. With his adaptation to the crowd to make sure they are feeling the music that he is playing or the requested music, your night of entertainment shall go smoothly and will include lots of fun! We are based from Janesville, Wisconsin but willing to travel from the areas of North Chicago, Illinois to Madison, Wisconsin, Milwaukee, WIsconsin, and more! Our current equipment setup includes 6 lights, 2 Speakers, and 2 wireless mics.
We play the music that you want us to play, we have a ban list of the music you don't want us to play, and we work with other vendors to make your wedding day go much smoother. We are open to zoom and phone calls upon request.

DJ service not what expected
My wedding was on September 7th, 2024. I have been trying to discuss what happened with the company before posting a review, but the meeting keeps getting pushed back, and it has been almost two months since my wedding. Now, I have not heard back from them at all in over two weeks. My husband, myself, our parents, guests, and even other vendors were not thrilled with our assigned DJ. One positive was the timely setting up of the date and payment for this service. The DJ was nice but that was it. Before our wedding, we filled out the required document with all our songs, and other information and even gave a Spotify list. -The DJ was confused about the songs to play during the wedding ceremony. even though we provided them in our meeting and on the Spotify list -he kept bothering the bride and groom while they were getting ready to walk down the aisle and had numbers for the day of coordinator and MOH. -not confident that he was going to play the right songs down the aisle, The photographer said he did mess up and played the bride's song while the party was still walking down -we specifically asked for the longest marriage dance. did not do that. stated: "he knows how to keep the party going and people dancing..." -we gathered requests beforehand did not follow our prewritten guidelines for songs and hardly played anything we wanted or asked for. -we stated no song request he took some but told others no as they "weren't" dancing songs -didn't play a slow song for over 2 hours, our photographer waited patiently (overtime) for one to play. -other vendors heard him say "Now I can pay my rent with this" **- did NOT tell us he was bringing a plus one, we account for just him and he brought his wife. -he showed up with a bunch of CDs but said he was experienced for 15-plus years but the music transitions were choppy -the bride (myself) had to go up and ask for more slow songs, the DJ wasn't playing any. Many of our guests have negative comments about it, and to be honest I am upset about this as well. The whole situation was bothersome.
An out of this world DJ!
We were thrilled with DJ Kenny from KJ Entertainment! His calm, upbeat communication style made planning a breeze. When bad weather forced us to move the ceremony indoors last-minute, he quickly accommodated the change. DJ Kenny brought an energetic vibe that kept guests of all ages dancing all night. He expertly mixed new hits with classics and took requests, enriching the celebration with his talent. His professional equipment and quality song selection elevated the entire event. We'd recommend KJ Entertainment for any special occasion - you'll be glad you booked them! We only wish we had also hired their videographer Nacho to capture more magical moments.
Amazing DJ!
DJ KJ was incredible! He was flexible with last-minute changes, including a tornado warning in the middle of the reception. Our guests danced the whole night and had a blast! It’s great to see how much fun DJ KJ has doing his job, and he honored our wishes for a family friendly evening. Highly recommend!!
