“I came across Mae’s work when looking for a photographer for engagement photos in Central Park, and I was immediately impressed with Mae and knew we were going to be incredibly happy with the results. Mae responded immediately to all my questions, day or night, and took the time to video chat with me at length twice before the shoot to discuss what we were looking for in our photos. Before the shoot, I had sent her a few examples of what I liked, and not only did the photos come out exactly how I wanted them, but were even more perfect than I envisioned. The engagement shoot itself was so much fun, and Mae made us feel so comfortable throughout the entire process, despite us thinking we’d both feel awkward getting posed photos of us taken. Mae truly had a vision for what poses, locations, and lighting would work, and the execution was perfect. “There are simply just not enough words to describe how amazing and special it was to have Ayla as our photographer. We had a small, intimate wedding in Winter Park, Colorado and we truly could not have asked for a more thoughtful, talented, and kind person to capture our day. From the first time we spoke, Ayla has been so helpful and knowledgable, she helped guide us through the entire wedding process and helped make our planning experience truly stress-free. She took the time to scout ceremony locations for us, gave us a list of the most beautiful spots to check out during our trip (our guests couldn't stop talking about them), created timelines for us, gave us an extensive wedding guide that I looked at probably 100 times, and helped us with so much more. There was a storm that rolled in last minute on our wedding day and, morning-of, Ayla helped us replan our entire day to work out in the best way with the rain and it ended up being better than we could have ever imagined. Even with a super short notice that the wedding was moved up two hours, Ayla still found time to hunt down two clear umbrellas for us and picked up on the way to our location. She took immediate action and it felt like every concern was resolved before we could even begin to get stressed about them.
